Catholic Wedding Officiants at Saint Joseph Mission Church

We are Progressive Catholic Priests with a contemporary and open view of the sacraments. That God and Church should welcome all.

Father Joseph Ciccone is an ordained, Old Catholic Priest and a member of the United States Old Catholic Church Community. http://www.usocc.org/

Father is part of the new Saint Joseph Church Mission dedicated to helping those in the margins of society, fighting for social justice and bringing the word of God to the people wherever they may be. He has also served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Miria

m Parish and Friary in PA,. and as a Chapel minister at Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York were he graduated with a Masters in Divinity in Ministry and Pastoral Care in 2013. As part of the Saint Joseph Mission, Father travels within the tri-state area and often near his family’s home is Sarasota, Florida and New Jersey (and all through the NYC metro area). Father Joseph loves weddings and can help plan your special day! Father’s openness to all couples allows him a deep sense of tradition, and the sacraments, but with a genuine authenticity that is open to everyone.

WHAT a GREAT Pre-Cana Class! A wonderful Mass yesterday celebrated with great joy, wonderful people, and with an amazing TEAM. The mission is on the move for the Summer. In one week from today Nancy was called home to Heaven six months ago. Yesterday her Periodontist called to remind her that she had an appointment today. I tried to explain why she was not able to be there, even though for the life of me, I can’t understand the reason yet. Next Wednesday on June 3 at 4:30 pm a Celebration of the Life and Spirit of my sister will be held in the Cliffside Chapel and we will gather as a family who continues to both love and mourn her amazing soul. If you would like to come let me know. The Mission is on the move this Sunday and returns to the Church of the Ascension 1 Kingsley Ave., Staten Island NY at 3pm on June 7 - Aug. 16 - Oct. 4 & Nov. 22

The Holy Spirit was with this amazing couple, both health care providers doing the healing work of Jesus on Pentecost Sunday, bless both Lex & Dr Chris always! The mission, like the Holy Spirit is on the move again this weekend, but come to Mass with us the week after and be transformed with faith, love and HOPE! Listen to the spirit telling us all – It’s pretty special and you are magic! Please join us at 3:00 pm – Church of the Ascension 1 Kingsley Ave., Staten Island on the following dates - June 7 - Aug. 16 - Oct. 4 - Nov. 22, 2026 (only 4 more Masses left for this very busy and transformative year) of change on the long and winding journey of life.
