Expounding on the word of God is a complete joy for me. I am blessed to have been able to do so for over 20 years. I was a campus pastor for five years at UC. At the same time, I pastored various small churches throughout the Presbytery primarily at Fairfax and Calvary churches. I am currently honored to serve at Cleves Presbyterian. Previous to being a pastor I had a thirty-year career at P&G, mostly in IT related areas.
I have a wonderful daughter, Alicia, married to Colin and they have blessed me with two amazing grandchildren, Andrea and Ethan. Of course, my favorite thing is being with them. I also enjoy, though, paint by number, puzzles of all sorts, needlework and reading. I live in Northern Kentucky with my sister, Melody and our dog Ethel and cat Mindy.

Meet Our Pastors,

D. Marie Pierce.
With roots firmly grounded in faith, I was baptized at Walnut Hills Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, and subsequently found a spiritual home at Calvin Presbyterian Church, where I participated in the Confirmation Class of 1977. Throughout this journey, notable milestones include graduating from Muskingum College (now University), a Presbyterian institution, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music in 1986, and serving as Calvin's choir director for numerous years until the role was redefined during the COVID-19 pandemic. In February 2020, I was elected as an Elder, serving until Calvin's closure, and further demonstrated my commitment through the Ruling Elder Preaching Institute, resulting in my inclusion on the Presbytery's pulpit supply list. Alongside my husband, John Pierce, an Elder and former Clerk of Session at Calvin, we have navigated life's joys and challenges, including our relocation from Day Heights to New Richmond in 2011.
