A couple of books just added to our Father’s Day list:

“How to Be Happy: St. Thomas’ Secret to a Good Life” by Matt Fradd

“Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith” by Vice President JD Vance

Both would make thoughtful gifts for Catholic men, fathers, sons, and anyone looking for a good faith-filled read.

🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we honor the American flag, a symbol of the freedoms we cherish and the sacrifices made to preserve them.

As Christians, we give thanks for the men and women who have served our nation and for the blessings of liberty that allow us to worship God freely. While our ultimate citizenship is in Heaven, we are called to pray for our country, support one another, and be faithful stewards of the freedoms we have received.

May God bless our nation, guide our leaders, protect our military and first responders, and help us remain one nation under God.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12

🇺🇸 God Bless America 🇺🇸

In today's Gospel, Jesus looks upon the crowds with compassion because they are "like sheep without a shepherd." He then calls His disciples to go forth and serve, heal, and proclaim the Kingdom of God.

As members of Knights of Columbus, we are reminded that Christ's call did not end with the Apostles. It continues through each of us. Through our works of charity, support for our parish, service to our community, and dedication to our families, we answer the Lord's invitation to labor in His harvest.

May we continue to put our Faith into Action, serving with Charity, Unity, and Fraternity in all that we do.

Vivat Jesus!

Men of the parish, you are invited to Jacobs Crossing this Saturday at St. Therese of Lisieux.

We will gather in the Trinity Room after the 8:30 a.m. Mass for a free breakfast and guided faith discussion. This is a simple way for men to come together, grow in faith, and build stronger brotherhood within our parish.

There is no cost to attend. Just come as you are and bring another man with you.

All men are welcome.

On this eighth day of our Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Knights of Columbus of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux Parish remember our patroness, the Little Flower. Saint Thérèse teaches us that the way to the Heart of Jesus is through humility, trust, and complete confidence in His mercy. Her "little way" reminds us that even our smallest acts of love, offered to God, can draw us closer to His Sacred Heart.

May Saint Thérèse inspire us to place all our hope in Christ's transforming love and to seek hearts that are humble and gentle like His.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, make our hearts like unto Thine.

Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, pray for us.

O Jesus! When You were a Pilgrim on earth, You said: “Learn of Me for I am gentle and humble of heart and you will find rest for your souls.” O Mighty Monarch of Heaven, my soul finds rest in seeing You, clothed in the form and nature of a slave, humbling Yourself to wash the feet of Your apostles... I beg You, my Divine Jesus, to send me a humiliation whenever I try to set myself above others. I know that You humble the proud soul but to the one who humbles one’s self. You give an eternity of glory... To obtain this grace of Your infinite mercy I will very often repeat: “O Jesus, gentle and humble of heart, make my heart like Yours!”
