We are immensely proud of this accomplishment and grateful for his continued commitment to learning, growing, and going deeper for the glory of God. His dedication reminds us that growth never stops when you are called to serve God’s people faithfully.

but for us, this was a shift 🔥

Pastor Kevin R Smith and the Mount Carmel Baptist Church family came in and poured into this house 🙌🏾
and God met us right where we were ⛪️
“We Started From The Bottom, Now We’re Here!” ⬆️

That word was on time ⏰
• Some of us remembered where God brought us from 🙏🏾
• Some of us realized we’re further along than we thought 📍
• Some of us made up our minds, we’re not going back 🚫

This one feels deeply personal. May 23rd is more than just a date, it's a milestone for our incredible Pastor, Donte Thompson, who's graduating with a Diploma of Theology in Black Church Studies! We're beyond proud. What you see on Sundays is the result of late nights, real sacrifices, and a commitment to growth, even when it's hard. He didn't just answer the call; he dedicated himself to study, learn, and lead with purpose. When our leader grows, we all grow.
