LMM's Portraits of Strength & Homelessness will be displayed at the Shaker Library from now until December 1st!

Both collections were created by Lydia Bailey, Coordinator of Volunteers at our Men's Shelter, and they offer a meaningful look into the lives of those we serve, as well as members of our staff with lived experience too.

Join us for a pair of events including a Community Conversation and Open Mic Poetry during that period, with all of the details on how to sign up or get involved on the flyer above!

We're so grateful to have a weekly recovery service collaboration with Superior Behavioral Health tabling at our Men's Shelter!

Logan Lehman is their representative, and when she tables she displays the best professionalism and shows sincere respect, care, and concern in serving our Men!

On September 29th, 2026, LMM teamed up with the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Cuyahoga County, and Cleveland VOTES to present “Dollars and Sense: Get to Know the County Levies.”

This was a civic education forum with the goal to give a high-level overview of the impact of both the Developmental Disability and the two HHS levies that will be on the ballot this November.

Thank you to Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, CEO of the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities Dr. Amber C. Gibbs, and Director of the Cuyahoga County Department of Health and Human Services, David Merriman, for sharing their insights on each issue, and to everyone who joined us for a wonderful and informative evening!

Thank you to the Gideon's for generously donating 300 bibles to our Shelter!

We are distributing them throughout the dormitories, as well as adding many of the copies into our Shelter’s library where several bible studies meet on an ongoing basis.

An LMM staff partner is also keeping a few copies in her office to distribute to individuals who come to her office to talk for when she senses they might appreciate a bible.
