A Second Home for You (ASHFY) mission, is to bridge the gap between foster care and adult living by assisting young adults who have aged out of the foster care system, to become more productive in the communities they live. Helping Young Adults Transition into Life

Transitional life programs are designed for adults, both men and women, needing extra support to effectively navigate into adulthood.

Goal
Our ultimate goal is to make available the necessary resources to assist young adults in continuing their education and/or vocational training, while providing shelter. We are committed to increasing their life skills in order to succeed as valuable members of society. We can make a difference

I am honored and grateful to be included once again in the upcoming 18th Edition of Who's Who In Black Cleveland. ❤️‍🔥

In 2024, A Second Home for You was recognized for our work providing housing and support to young men impacted by foster care. This year, it is even more meaningful to be acknowledged for our scholarship program and our commitment to giving back to the Saint Clair community.

To be recognized for serving others is one of the greatest blessings. Every young man we help, every scholarship we award, and every act of service in our community reminds us why this work matters. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along this journey!

Thank you to Who's Who In Black Cleveland for this incredible honor and for recognizing organizations and individuals who are making a difference. We are humbled, grateful, and inspired to continue serving.

Happy 31st Anniversary Wifey❤️‍🔥

From the day we became friends at 14 years old to celebrating 31 years of marriage and over 41 years of loving one another, God has been writing our love story every step of the way.

Through every joy, every challenge, and every prayer, we have stood together. We have never been perfect, but we have always been committed, to God and to each other. You are still my greatest blessing, and your love, laughter, and unwavering support continue to fill my heart with gratitude.

When we started the scholarship portion of our program in 2021, we were amazed by how our supporters came together to help students pursue their college dreams. Nothing brings me more joy and excitement than seeing one of our scholars graduate.

I woke up around 5:40am to grab some water, turned the TV on low so my wife wouldn’t flip the bedroom light on, and tried to sneak back to sleep. Next thing I hear the news say, “A Second Home for You”… I’m like HOLD UP 😮… who?! I jumped up yelling, “CAROL! LOOK… LOOK!” 😂Moments like that...unexpected and real mean everything. Just a reminder that God sees the work, even when you’re not looking for recognition. 🙏🏾I’m truly thankful… and yes, I was still half asleep ❤️‍🔥
