It is our Pastor’s desire that whole families are being saved and delivered into the kingdom of God. The content of the Word given in the Worship Center is too mature for children. Pastor’s sermons are not about how to make friends in school or potty training 101. Also, the environment will not accommodate the restlessness that is normal in a healthy child. Yet, when a parent comes to service, he
or she will bring their child into the sanctuary. That is the first part of where we come in. We provide a safe and loving environment for the children who come to service with their parents. The call of the ministry of “THE WORD” Church is not to just hear the Word but live out the Word. This leads us to the second part of what we do. We are in partnership with the parents who attend our church by providing their child with developmentally- appropriate versions of the Word that Pastor Vernon brings. In that way, our roles cannot be simply defined by “teacher” or “care giver” but a loving combination of both. EARLY CHILDHOOD
