The Gospel is not just about where you’re going when you die. It’s about who you’re becoming while you’re alive.
Paul said in Ephesians 5:8,
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.”
Notice he didn’t say you were in darkness. He said you were darkness. Your very nature was separated from God. But when Jesus saved you, He didn’t simply improve your old life—He gave you a new one.
You were under the power of darkness, but now you’ve been transferred into the Kingdom of God’s beloved Son.
The Gospel is not behavior modification. It is Kingdom transformation.
Too many people are trying to act like Christians without realizing they have become a new creation. We don’t live differently in order to become sons and daughters of God. We live differently because we already are.
The Kingdom of God changes everything.
It changes your identity.
It changes your desires.
It changes your thinking.
It changes your purpose.
It changes how you live every day.
You were once one thing…
But now, because of Jesus, you are something completely different.
