The Growing Place We are a Christian preschool ministering to 3 and 4 year olds (3 years by Aug. 31). We meet from 8am to 12pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

We are a Christian preschool ministering to three and four year olds. We follow the White County School Year Calendar. The Growing Place strives to share the Love of God with our community by offering our little ones a safe, healthy, happy place to grow. We intend to serve the whole child, intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially, and

spiritually. Our preschool ministry will achieve these goals by:
- surrounding the children and their families with prayer
- loving each child and recognizing him/her as a unique Child of God created in God’s Image
- preparing all children for positive learning and growth regardless of ability to pay tuition
- providing a creative and stimulating environment which encourages freedom of choice and self expression
- providing a variety of experiences with open-ended materials that encourage exploration
- utilizing the gifts of members of our community to enhance the children’s experiences
- offering regular, developmentally appropriate opportunities for worship
- providing a community of support to parents
- being effective stewards of our preschool facilities by enhancing and utilizing them to their fullest extent

Our precious preschoolers graduated last night! 🎉 We are so incredibly proud of these kiddos! They are all destined to do amazing things. May God always watch over and protect these sweet babies throughout their lives. We are going to greatly miss them!!
As most of you know, there was a heartbreaking decision made to close The Growing Place Preschool. It was not an easy one, but we are trusting in God’s direction.
It has been quite a journey for The Growing Place Preschool for the past eight years. With a vision that two ladies had in mind of opening a unique preschool built for special and one of a kind experiences, this school became something so beautiful and has truly been a work of heart for so many throughout the past eight years. I am so thankful for what two ladies started all these years ago, and it was an honor to be a part of what God blessed and helped blossom in bounds over time. It was such a pleasure to be the preschool teacher here for the past two years. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity and for the love and generosity from the congregation of FPC Cleveland.
This isn’t goodbye, just a see you later. May God richly bless you all! 💚

Tuesday was “Cat in the Hat” Day, and everyone got to wear a hat! 🧢 👒🎩
Wednesday was Fox in Socks” Day, where everyone got to wear silly/mismatched socks! 🧦 🧦
Thursday was “Green Eggs and Ham” Day, and we got to wear something green! 💚

Dear church members, friends, family, current and former The Growing Place students and families:

Please join us on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, during our 11:00 AM church service to celebrate The Growing Place Preschool! The Growing Place is a little treasure that we all dearly love and pour so much love, heart, growing and nurturing into such a wonderful little program for our little 3-4 year olds!
We would love to have you all here, especially our TGP babies! There will be a St. Patrick’s Day luncheon and dessert following the service.

What a WILD DAY today! (In a good way! 😋)

We went on a safari hunt with our safari hats and the binoculars that we made in class yesterday! We saw ALL KINDS of animals, and even a GIANT snake! 😱 The kids really enjoyed getting to see all of the animals and calling out the names of the ones that they saw!

Are you looking for a wonderful place for your 3 to 4 year old to learn and have tons of fun?! Look no further! The Growing Place Preschool is the best little preschool program for North Hall/Cleveland/White County preschoolers!

The Growing Place Preschool is Christian and play based, is open three days a week for four hours, and it is the perfect little program for Mommas to be able to have their mornings free to run errands!

Registration is officially OPEN for the 2025-2026 school year! If you are interested in enrolling your child for the upcoming school year, you may call the front office or email us for more information!

Our class has been learning about Community Helpers this week! So, we had Officer Ramey, from the White Co. Sheriff’s Office, to come and visit us today!

He also brought his K-9 unit along with him, Cast! (I’m pretty sure that I have spelled that wrong. 😂)
Everyone got to pet the K-9, got to see the lights flash, and we also got to hear the siren! 🚨

Happy Book Character Day! 📖

Everyone dressed up as their favorite book character, and all of the kiddos looked so cute!

We had a Scooby-Doo, a pumpkin, Rapunzel, a Very Hungry Caterpillar, a dragon, and Gabby from “Gabby’s Dollhouse”!

Mrs. Cara dressed as Cat in the Hat! Of course, look at Mrs. Adele being a hoot dressed as Gertrude, the dancing chicken! 😂😂 She is hilarious and a joy to work with!!
