One of the beautiful spiritual works of mercy is to pray for the dead. One of the greatest ways we can do this is by having the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered for our deceased loved ones.

At St. Andrew Abbey, the monks are honored to remember the faithful departed, as well as the living, in the celebration of the Eucharist. Whether marking an anniversary of death, remembering a birthday, or simply entrusting someone to God's loving mercy, a Mass intention is a meaningful expression of faith and love.

Our current list of Mass intentions is running short. If you would like to have a Mass offered for a loved one—living or deceased—we invite you to submit a Mass request to St. Andrew Abbey.

For information about requesting a Mass intention and the suggested offering, please visit: https://standrewabbey.org/mass-requests

Thank you for allowing us to join you in praying for those you love. Be assured that the monks of St. Andrew Abbey remember all of our benefactors and friends in prayer.

Please keep Fr. Finbar in your prayers as he begins his new ministry as Pastor of Assumption Parish.

Fr. Finbar has recently taken up his new assignment and is settling in well. While we miss his daily presence at the abbey and at Benedictine High School, we are grateful that he continues to share the Benedictine spirit of prayer, hospitality, and service with the people of Assumption Parish.

We ask God's blessings upon Fr. Finbar as he shepherds his new parish family, and we thank all those who continue to pray for the monks of St. Andrew Abbey and for an increase in vocations to the monastic life.

Today we welcome Fr. Finbar as he begins his first day with our parish community!!

Please join us in praying for him as he begins his time at Church of the Assumption. We are grateful to have him with us and look forward to the many ways he will share his faith, guidance, and compassion with our parish and school families.

Welcome, Fr. Finbar! We’re blessed to have you here.

Happy Feast Day of **Saint Benedict**!

Today we give thanks for our holy father, whose wisdom has guided monks and countless Christians for over 1,500 years. His Rule calls us to seek God through prayer, work, hospitality, humility, and life in community.

May the intercession of Saint Benedict inspire each of us to listen more attentively to the voice of Christ and to respond generously to the vocation God has placed before us.

**St. Benedict, pray for us!**
