In the final days of Advent—from December 17 through December 23—the Church enters a particularly rich period of prayer with the ancient O Antiphons, traditionally prayed during Evening Prayer.

We invite you to pray along with the monks of St. Andrew Abbey during the final days of Advent. Beginning Wednesday, December 17, the Church’s O Antiphons guide us in hopeful expectation as we prepare for the coming of Christ.

It is our hope that these prayers will slow our hearts, deepen our longing, and draw us closer to the mystery of Christ’s coming as we approach the celebration of Christmas.

From all of us at St. Andrew Abbey, we wish you a blessed close to Advent and a joyful Christmas.

That in all things God may be glorified.
