E: What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me?
P: I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord.
E: I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
P: I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the Lord.
E: You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.
All: Today we have come not simply to receive, but to respond. God has poured grace upon grace into our lives, and now we come to pour out our praise. So bring your gratitude, bring your worship, bring your whole heart and let it overflow!

E: Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
P: Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
E: And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
P: As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor their righteousness endures forever.”
E: Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.

E: Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the
heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.
P: And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books
were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life
E: The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.
The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the
dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they
had done.
P: Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.
E: The lake of fire is the second death.
P: Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown
into the lake of fire.

The Women’s Empowerment Tea, hosted by the Lee Heights Development Corporation in partnership with Lee Heights Community Church, was an absolute success!

We are thankful that God blessed us with the rain early in the day, reminding us that even the rain has a purpose. Although the showers fell as our event began, they certainly did not dampen our spirits or prevent us from enjoying a beautiful afternoon of fellowship, encouragement, laughter, and empowerment.

This special gathering was also a wonderful testimony to the vision, commitment, and faithful work of our dear Sister Mae Brown. Her legacy of bringing women together continues to bear fruit and reminds us of what can happen when women gather with purpose, love, and faith.

The rain may have fallen, but so did the blessings! We experienced the empowering presence of God through Jesus Christ as women of different generations came together to encourage one another, celebrate one another, and simply enjoy being in community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, served, supported, and helped make this beautiful afternoon possible. We left reminded that empowered women empower women—and when God is in the midst, even a little rain can’t stop the blessing!
