THEME: LOVING MY NEIGHBOR

Musical Prelude
Welcome and Prayer of Invocation Elder Lorsonja Moore
Call To Worship James 4:13-17 Elder Lorsonja Moore
E: Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”
P: Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.
E: What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
P: Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
E: As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.
P: If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

Lee Heights Community Church Women's Ministry

🌱 Every Season Has a Purpose. Every Seed Has a Story. Every Harvest Is a Testimony!

Life takes us through many seasons. Some bring joy and abundance, while others bring challenges, disappointment, and uncertainty. But even in our most difficult seasons, God is still growing something within us!

Ladies, join us for an intimate and uplifting evening of sisterhood, testimony, reflection, and encouragement as we celebrate the ways God has transformed our struggles into strength, our pain into purpose, and our waiting into wisdom.

🫙 Special Activity: Jars of Gratitude!
We'll decorate personal gratitude jars and fill them with answered prayers, blessings, encouraging scriptures, and reminders of God's faithfulness. BRING YOUR FAVORITE JAR...IF NOT, WE WILL HAVE ONE FOR YOU!

📖 Galatians 6:9 — "Let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up."

🍁 Come ready to reflect.
🌻 Come ready to share.
💛 Come ready to be encouraged.

THEME: A TRUSTWORTHY GOD

Musical Prelude
Welcome and Prayer of Invocation Elder Greg Battle
Call To Worship Amos 5:18-24 Elder Greg Battle
E: Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord! Why do you long for the day of the Lord? That day will be darkness, not light. It will be as though a man fled from a lion only to meet a bear, as though he entered his house and rested his hand on the wall only to have a snake bite him.
P: Will not the day of the Lord be darkness, not light—pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness?
E: I hate, I despise your religious festivals; your assemblies are a stench to me.
P: Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Though you bring choice fellowship offerings, I will have no regard for them.
E: Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.
P: But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!
