Fifth Church of God City of Deliverance This is a church where imperfect people are always welcome. We extend hope,help and healing through preaching and teaching the Word of God which changes lives.

Jesus is the subject. Fifth Church of God City of Deliverance is open 2 days per week not including Sunday services. Office open Wednesday and some Fridays. Sunday services, 1st,3rd and 4th Sunday. Second Saturday, Farmer's Market/Mobile Pantry, church open 7:00am-1:00pm. Due to the COVID 19 Virus hours have been adjusted. Office offsite Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. We need our Heavenly Father to intervene in Jesus name. As a pastor, I face challenges and we all do. Sometimes we feel alone in this process. I realize that we all have challenges. So today, I am asking God to help in the mist of the struggles and challenges to trust Him more.

“Cast your burden upon the Lord and he shall sustain you. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. “ Psalm 55:22

Fifth Church of God City of Deliverance

I pray you will read this scripture and know that God sees, hears and cares for us. I pray for encouragement today.

Psalm 63

O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory.
Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands.

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food,
and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,
when I remember you upon my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the night;
for you have been my help,
and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.
My soul clings to you;
your right hand upholds me.

But those who seek to destroy my life
shall go down into the depths of the earth;
they shall be given over to the power of the sword;
they shall be a portion for jackals.
