Day 5: Exposing Sin's Deception
Reading: Proverbs 26:2; Deuteronomy 28:1-14

Devotional: A curse without cause does not come. If you're experiencing continuous failure, there's a source—usually hidden sin. The devil operates like a pimp: you do all the work, face all the consequences, but he gets the reward. You're not in control of sin; sin is controlling you. To break free, associate something repulsive with your temptation. Visualize the true cost: broken relationships, lost opportunities, spiritual death. Sin promises pleasure but delivers destruction. God offers a better way: obedience brings blessing, protection, and provision. Today, choose to stop being played by the enemy. Align yourself with God's Word, cut out hidden sin, and position yourself for the abundant life God promised you.

Day 4: The Battle Within
Reading: Romans 7:14-25

Devotional: Paul's honest confession reveals our struggle: "The good I want to do, I don't do. The evil I don't want to do, that I practice." Sin is a living entity that attaches itself to you like a parasite, controlling your actions against your will. You're not crazy—you're in a spiritual battle. Deep inside, you want to do right, but sin has grabbed hold of you. Here's the truth: you cannot overcome sin through willpower alone. You need Jesus Christ. He breaks sin's grip and empowers you to live righteously. Stop trying to manage sin and start surrendering to the Savior. Thank God today that through Christ, you have deliverance from this body of death.

Devotional: Israel was invincible—until someone sinned. One man's hidden disobedience caused an entire army to lose. God told Joshua, "Get up! Israel has sinned and broken My covenant." Your secret sins aren't just personal; they break your agreement with God and stop His blessing. God doesn't have to destroy you—He simply removes His hand of protection, and the enemy moves in. Hidden sin creates visible defeat. Perhaps you're wondering why doors keep closing, why peace is absent, or why you keep losing. Check for sin in the camp. God's grace gives you time to repent, but unaddressed disobedience will eventually cost you everything. Cut out the sin, restore the covenant, and watch God's blessing return.

Devotional: God promised Joshua that no one would stand against him—but with a condition. Success wasn't automatic; it required meditating on God's Word day and night and carefully obeying it. The Bible isn't just a book for church—it's your manual for winning in life. When you respect God's Word, you don't abuse it; you apply it. God's promises come with an "if-then" clause: IF you keep His Word in your mouth and DO what it says, THEN you'll have good success. Stop treating the Bible as optional reading. It contains the strategy for your victory. Commit today to reading, meditating, and most importantly, doing what God says.
