Amistad Chapel United Church of Christ Amistad Chapel United Church of Christ is a multi-cultural congregation meeting every Sunday morning for worship from 10:30-11:30 am. Paul’s UCC.

Worship, formerly located at 700 Prospect, now meets at St. W. 45 @ Franklin in the gym. All are welcome, no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey. Our worship is ever-changing and we hope that you will experience God's love through music, prayers, communion and sharing. You may wish to bring donations of non-perishable food items and small personal care items for people in our cit

y who are homeless. We partner with centers who distribute them, including the ministry of St. Paul's UCC in their outreach for the homeless. Amistad Chapel continues to celebrate all who advocate for justice and a God, known by many names, who promises to be with us, during both trial and rejoicing. Amistad Chapel is waiting for you to visit. Please join us as you are able.

The final worship service of our congregation will take place today at 2 pm. If you’re in the area, we’d love to welcome you at St. Paul’s Community Church, 4427 Franklin, Cleveland. Otherwise, we ask for your prayers as we celebrate what has been and what is to come. Faith, love and hope abound!

Stretch Out Your Hand! Artists raise themes of justice in this unique exhibit at Amistad Chapel.
Come to the opening reception this Saturday, June 2 from 2-6 pm in conjunction with the PRIDE events in downtown Cleveland.
View the art through Sunday, June 17 at these times:
Monday-Friday, 9 am - 6 pm
Sunday 9-11 am (worship 10-11)

I saw this today and it made me smile! E-Hugs to my ACUCC Friends!

Mark Twain once wrote: “Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated!” The same might be said of small churches, especially those that create new ways of being church.

Some churches have no pastor; some no church building; some have fewer than 10 members; one closed formally only to rise again as a house church. But each is alive and well, living the Gospel.
