Leviticus

Leviticus Leviticus is a gospel group whose roots are based in Cleveland, Ohio Dale Johnson (now deceased).

Leviticus was founded in 1980 by Earl McElrath and its founding members David Crawford, Paul Hunt and Rev. In 1981 Andrus Murray was added as Drummer after their First Anniversary Celebration and in the following year Robert Crawford was added as Trumpeteer with Arnold Lockett as Bassist. Still in a state of flux by 1983 the Bass Player position was solidified with the addition of Donnell Clark, a

nd from this collaboration the Leviticus juggernaut began. Leviticus was a self contained musical aggregation, having its own set of exceptional songwriters and musicians to interpret and create the groups unique sound. During much of its existence, Leviticus was considered a contemporary gospel group. And when you listen to some of their intricate harmonies and musical creations, I'm sure you will find that they are still an aggregation ahead of its time, with a pure unadulterated gospel message of salvation, belief and hope.
