Guided by the same Holy Spirit present at Pentecost, we are entering a moment of renewal and unity as Immaculate Conception Parish and the Cathedral Parish come together as one parish community.
As symbolically illustrated here, both worship sites remain open and active, continuing to welcome all for worship, evangelization, and service in our neighborhood.
This merger is both a gift and a responsibility. It’s an invitation to deepen our unity, widen our hearts, and strengthen our witness to the Gospel. In this season of change, marked by Cathedral renovations and new beginnings, we are reminded that the Church is always being renewed by Christ, alive not in one building, but in His people.
We are grateful for the rich spiritual life Immaculate Conception brings, which now will include an English Saturday 6:00 PM Vigil Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception beginning June 6. Beginning June 1, Immaculate Conception will also be the Cleveland home of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, whose daily celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass and devotion to the Church’s liturgical life will enrich our parish in beautiful and meaningful ways.
Our community is growing, and you are invited to be a part of it! Whether you are new, returning, or have been with us for years, there is a place for you here. Come share your gifts, talents, and faith as we build this community together and bring Christ’s presence more fully into our city. You can join our family here: https://saintjohncathedral.com/join-the-parish.
While this moment brings both joy and sacrifice, it will ultimately strengthen our shared mission and unites us more deeply in Christ. Like the early Church after Pentecost, we move forward in faith believing and trusting the Holy Spirit, who renews, sends, and makes all things new.
One faith. One mission. One parish family.
