We are excited to be sending a team of 6 to Holambra, Brazil, September 10-25.
Please be in prayer for the team as they finalize preparations for the trip and commit to pray for them as they travel, serve, and minister in Brazil. Pastor Dave & Laura have been serving alongside missionaries, Paul and Jill van Opstal for more than 20 years. the van Opstals run a children's home, Projeto Lar Feliz (Project Happy Home), introducing children that have been abandoned, neglected, or abused, to the love of Jesus Christ. Since the beginning of their ministry in Brazil they have cared for nearly 2,000 children ages 0-17.
Our team will be loving the children through crafts, games, sports and the teaching of bible stories. They will also have the opportunity to serve in a local church and two different residential addiction facilities.
