Another one of our missional communities following Jesus together throughout the week is The Deer Park MC.

They seek to be a Good News presence among friends and neighbors through service and faithful presence in the Historic District around Deer Park. Together, they pursue Christ-centered community that shares all of life with one another and invites others into it.

The Deer Park MC gathers for a family meal on Sundays at 5pm.

Another one of our missional communities seeking to live out discipleship together throughout the week is the Story-Formed MC.

Anchored in the Story of God revealed in Scripture, they engage the redemption narrative alongside the stories found in books, movies, and culture around us. Together, they seek to make disciples and be shaped by God’s story, learning to see and engage the stories of our world through the lens of the gospel.

They gather for a family meal each Thursday at 6:30pm.

Our missional communities follow Jesus together as a family of servant missionaries. The Foster Care Missional Community lives this out by caring for and serving foster children, families, and ministries in our city.

James 1:27
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

Nationwide, approximately 3% of practicing Christians in the U.S. are foster parents.

We had a sweet time together on Sunday! We recognized our graduates and were blessed to have Paul Dean share with us at the Gathering.
Then we all headed to the river for lunch to celebrate baptisms and ten years as a church!
