Thankfulness has been the prevailing theme in the Cleveland tabernacle. The Sabbath is all about giving thanks to our Creator and we are striving to give him all we’ve got—not just on the Sabbath, but in our daily lives! Take a moment to give God thanks for all He has done! 🙌🏾

This Sabbath, we came to give THANKS! Thanks to the Most High for bringing us through, teaching us, raising us and saving us! He’s worthy of every praise we render 🙌🏾

After a beautiful Sabbath worship experience, Bro. Nate reminded us why any of this matters—we should all have heaven in our view! No matter what people say or do, no matter the trials and tribulations, at the end of the day it’s about our personal walk with the Creator 🙌🏾

There's a gathering in the East and there's a gathering in the WEST!

✨ 130th Re-Establishment Anniversary Celebration ✨
📍 Lawrence, Kansas
📅 November 6–8, 2026

We are filled with reverence and joy as we prepare to gather in Lawrence, Kansas for a sacred and historic milestone—the 130th Re-Establishment Anniversary of the Church of God and Saints of Christ.

For 130 years, God has preserved, guided, and sustained His people. Now, we return to holy ground—one of the earliest tabernacle sites, the location of the first Passover observance, and one of the places where the divine plan of salvation was revealed to Prophet William S. Crowdy.

This powerful weekend will include:
✨ Spirit-filled worship services
✨ Historical reflections and guided tours
✨ An evening of remembrance, fellowship, food and dancing
✨ A farewell prayer breakfast

This is more than an event—it’s a divine appointment. A time to honor our past, celebrate our present, and look boldly toward the future.

We had a marvelous YPIL service today! Our young people were on fire from beginning to end. We were blessed with a sermonette from Bro. Clifford Allen IV where he reminded us about the story of Jonah. He admonished us to remember that when the various whales of life (depression, sickness, financial woes) try to swallow us up, salvation is of the Lord! Then Bro Elisha Reddick followed up with the message “God Just Give Me A Sign”. He let us know that as the world is straying further from God, look for the signs and be obedient to Him. We closed out service on high and were privileged to witness the blessing of a child—little Cameron Cheeks. What a blessed Sabbath 🙌🏾

As we honor Black History Month, we pause to listen—to the voices, the stories, and the songs that have carried truth through generations. 🎶Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” reminds us that faith isn’t silent in the face of pain, injustice, or love for our neighbor. It calls us to see one another fully, to choose compassion over division, and to keep hope alive even when the world feels heavy.

Today we give thanks for the legacy of Black artists, leaders, and believers who dared to speak, sing, pray, and act for a better tomorrow. May we continue that work—rooted in love, guided by justice, and covered in grace.

“Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.” (Amos 5:24)

Happy Sabbath!

As we prepare to enter another Sabbath, we are still reflecting on the spirit-filled time we had this past Holy Convocation. We have prayed and fasted and are ready to feast on God’s blessings! Happy Sabbath ✡️
