🍭🍬 WE NEED CANDY!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF CANDY!!! 🍬🍭

Our Kids Ministry has BIG plans for this year's Christmas Parade, and we need YOUR help to make it happen!

OUR GOAL? 100 BAGS OF CANDY! 😲

That's right! ONE HUNDRED BAGS! We've got a float to fill, a community to love on, and plenty of Christmas cheer to spread! ❤️💚

🎄 HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP!

🍬 SHOP: Grab an extra bag (or five 😉) of individually wrapped candy on your next shopping trip!

🍭 DROP IT OFF: Bring your candy donations to the FLC!

💻 DONATE ONLINE: No time to shop? We've got you covered! Visit our giving page and select "Candy" from the dropdown menu. We'll do the shopping for you!

🎯 100 BAGS BY DECEMBER 1!

We're excited to celebrate the birth of our Savior with our community, and we can't wait to see what our Kids Ministry has planned for this year's parade!

WHO'S HELPING US REACH 100?! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Drop a 🍬 in the comments if you're joining TEAM CANDY!

P.S. All 100 bags are supposed to make it to the parade... so we're going to need everyone to keep an eye on the church staff. 👀😂

Our Candy Drive is ongoing! We are up to 20 of the 100 bags we are hoping for!

💙 October is Pastor Appreciation Month!

This week, we're excited to recognize our Student & Worship Pastor, John!

John joined our CFBC family in August 2024 and hit the ground running! Since then, he has poured his time, energy, and heart into serving our church family, especially our students and young adults.

From weekly Student Ministry gatherings and community service opportunities to camps, fellowship, and plenty of fun along the way, John is passionate about creating opportunities for young people to grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

His ministry doesn't stop with our students! John also helps lead our Sunday worship, blending traditional hymns with contemporary praise music, and leads our Young Adults Ministry as they gather for fellowship and spiritual growth.

One of the greatest blessings of a church is having leaders who invest in the next generation. The seeds of faith planted today can bear fruit for years to come, and we're grateful for John's commitment to helping our students know Jesus, grow in His Word, and live out their faith.

As we continue celebrating Pastor Appreciation Month, please join us in praying for John. Pray for wisdom, encouragement, strength, and continued joy in ministry. Pray also for the students and young adults God has entrusted to his care, that their hearts would be open to God's Word and His calling on their lives.

💙 Thank you, John, for your dedication, your willingness to serve, and the many ways you invest in our church family!

Have a favorite memory, a funny story, or a word of encouragement for Pastor John? Share it in the comments and help us show him some love!

Our Annual Senior Adult Fish Fry was a wonderful time filled with smiles, hugs, laughter, a few good jokes, and of course, some delicious food!

There's something special about gathering around a table with church family, sharing stories, making memories, and simply enjoying one another's company. What a blessing it is to have these opportunities for fellowship!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped plan, prepare, cook, serve, and make this special gathering possible. Your time and willingness to serve are such a blessing to our church family!

And a very special thank you to our dear friends, The Masters, for sharing their musical talents with us! The live music and those sweet Southern hymns made an already wonderful gathering even more special. 🎶

We are reminded that church is so much more than a place we gather on Sundays. It's a family, and what a blessing it is to do life together! 💙
