Our bioswales located in Section 66 feature native plants that filter out pollutants, while stone, sand, and fabric filter water slowly into the surrounding soil. The green space and surface work together to reduce pollutants for Lake Erie. As an environmentally historic cemetery, we partner with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District to create a more eco-friendly world. Want to learn more about how we help the environment? Yesterday, our Memorial Day observance was held at the James A. Garfield Memorial. This observance is endowed by the Leonard C. Horvitz Family in his memory and in honor of all the veterans who served our country.

Veterans, families and volunteers gathered at Lake View Cemetery on Memorial Day to honor loved ones and reflect on the sacrifices behind military service.
