Spirit of Religion- Anything of God, void of the Spirit of God.

“The Holy Spirit should not have a “lease” of our heart, He should OWN our heart to do whatever He wants with his property.”

“You can bless God, you can’t impress God” (with our works)

“Religion keeps you from the feet of Jesus”

We need to spend more time in his presence than we do working for Him. He died to eliminate living by rules and wanted us to move into living by a relationship.

Jesus. I may sound like a broken record but Jesus is on my mind every day. In fact I rarely spend an hour not talking to Jesus. You see, He is real to me. He isn't simply a figure in Christian theology. Jesus saved me. He changed me! I gave Him my broken mess and he applied His grace and power to my life! I was born again!!! I am a new creature! I am not broken any longer! What He did for me, He will do for you!
How do you get started? Admit you have a problem. You must be willing to bring your stuff to Jesus. Ask Him to help you and He will not turn you away!
