One morning I woke from a dream about someone whose last name was Champion — and there was my husband, wearing a Champion shirt. It stopped me. Because all that week, that word had been woven through my days like a thread I kept finding — God is our Champion.

So I put the song on. And I sang. And as I declared who He is, something shifted in me.
Undefeated. The battle already won. Open my mouth and miracles break out. Walls come crashing down.

He has given me authority. He has crowned me with confidence. I am who He says I am.
This wasn’t coincidence — this was God underlining a truth He needed me to carry into the day.

If the battle is already won, you are already crowned, and God went out of His way all week just to remind you — what are you still asking permission to walk in, and what does that tell you about how much He wants you to stop doubting who you are?

Potters Hand

Sunday morning began with a motivational speech I gave myself.

The first real one at that. At one point I glanced at the clock.

It was 6:40. Deep in my journey through Isaiah, I then landed in Isaiah 64:8.

It touches my heart every time. There is so much depth in that one verse. How amazing that we are the clay and He is the potter, molding us into who we are becoming through the Spirit.

As the morning unfolded, I found myself concerned with having the house tidied up before we left for the day. I was about to sweep when Jacob mentioned that our friends would be joining us for church. The Holy Spirit had already given me a gentle nudge, but I was so caught up in wanting to get things done that all the emotions came flooding in at once.

Jacob noticed and said I could come later.
I paused for a moment, and I heard the Holy Spirit say you have a choice.
In that moment, I chose to put the broom back.

The relief was immediate. Something literally shifted inside of me. The weight lifted. It was like taking a full breath after holding it without realizing it. The emotions just left, and a subtle but real sense of life came over me.In the midst of this, Jacob offered me to wear his shirt that read “Champion”, and little did he know that yesterday I was thinking about wearing that shirt. That small act touched my heart deeply. He just offered it right on time as always.

Then he headed to the car while I finished up getting ready, and then he came back to check on me.

That too touched my heart deeply.
We stopped at the Well for coffee. I ask the gentleman taking our order what his name is.
Clay.

I paused. Seriously- What are the chances?

We talked about it — and here is the part that will wreck you in the best way. His parents named him Clay because his father loved Isaiah 64:8.

The Potter had been weaving the entire morning together — the verse, the choice of sweeping, the shirt, and a young man named Clay whose very name was rooted in the same truth I had been meditating on that morning.
We are the clay. He is the Potter. And He is always at work — even in the details we almost miss when we’re too busy sweeping.

You are not an accident on a shelf somewhere. You are clay in the hands of a purposeful, present, personal Potter.

Trust the process. He knows exactly what He is making.

A Purple Cup and a Divine Appointment

"But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."
John 1:12

It started with a purple cup.
Not a sermon. Not a church sign. Not a planned outreach event. Just a woman in a locker room, a cup the color of royalty, and a God who orchestrates everything.

This morning, I declared it out loud — I am a daughter of the King. Words spoken in faith, on a quiet walk outside, before the day had even unfolded. I had no idea that within hours, God was going to ask me to carry that declaration right into someone else's story.
That's how He works.

So when I saw this cup, it wasn't a coincidence. It was an invitation. A small, ordinary object that became a doorway to one of the most important questions a person can ever be asked:

Are you a daughter of the King?

She said no.

And something in me — and something in the Father — felt that.

It was important to sit with that for a moment. It was not in judgment, not in pity, but in understanding the weight of what it means to not know who you are.

She had walked through different religions, searched through different belief systems, and landed in agnosticism — still searching, still wandering, perhaps not even sure what she was looking for.

But here is what is so breathtaking about our encounter:

she didn't walk away.

She stopped. She engaged. She went deep in five minutes because the Holy Spirit was already at work before either of us ever opened our mouth. We were simply willing to be present.

I could feel a tugging in my heart for this woman I just met, imagine the longing of the One who knit her together in her mother's womb and has known her name since before time began (Psalm 139:13-16).

His heart longs for her. His heart was broken for her. His heart longs for you too.

Here's what the enemy knows that we sometimes forget: if he can keep a person from knowing whose they are, he doesn't have to fight very hard for anything else.

Identity is everything.

Walk in it. Keep declaring. Keep showing up.

Declare It Today:

I am a daughter of the King. I am a son of the King. My identity is not based on what I know — it is based on Whose I am. And we carry that truth into every room we enter.

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are."

Sometimes God sends you the same message three times in one day until you finally hear it.

💛 A friend reminded me I was beautiful first thing in the morning, and by the end of the day, she was on my mind again — unknowingly sending me the same reminder in a whole new way.

I have a mug that says “You are beautiful.” And at the end of the day, that same friend was about to send me a photo of hers — “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” I hadn’t even told her about mine yet. That’s not a coincidence. That’s God.

And those two phrases belong together, because our beauty isn’t just a compliment — it’s part of our identity. We are created in His image, and that means His beauty is woven into who we are, even on the days we don’t feel it. Even when the mirror lies. Even when we forget.

If no one has told you today — you are beautiful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Not because someone said so, but because of whose image you bear. ✨

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well."

Psalm 139:13–14

Written on the Skin, Written on the Heart
That number inked on the skin — 139 — is more than ink. It's a daily declaration. Before you had a name, before the world formed an opinion of you, God already knew you. He knitted you together intentionally, carefully, with purpose, and He called it wonderful.

We live in a world that constantly tries to tell us who we are — through comparison, criticism, and the quiet lies we rehearse in our own minds. But Psalm 139 speaks a different truth. You were not an accident. You were not an afterthought. You are not too much, and you are not not enough. You were knitted together by the hands of a God who does not make mistakes.

Fearfully and wonderfully made doesn't mean perfect by the world's standards. It means you are a masterpiece — and His works are wonderful. Your soul knows it, even when your mind forgets it.

You cannot go anywhere that He is not already there. You cannot fall so far that His hand cannot reach you. You are fully known and fully loved — not in spite of who you are, but because of who He is.

Let the truth of Psalm 139 be more than a verse — more than a tattoo. Let it be the lens through which you see yourself, the way He has always seen you. 🤍

☀️ Good day, beautiful people!
Welcome to Fearfully and Wonderfully Made — a place where I hope to regularly encourage you with reminders of our identity in Christ, as I journey along in receiving these truths personally!
This morning I felt led to read in John, chapters 13 through 15 (or letters, as I like to call them 😊). As I was reading John 14:18, this verse really resonated with me:

💬 "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."
I have had issues with rejection. When I read those words, I immediately thought — I am adopted. I've been told that. I've heard it over and over again, and for a long time I didn't believe it. It has hit me at different times, but this time I am fully choosing to receive it.

And within that is a powerful reminder — we are chosen by Him. What a truth to combat the lie of rejection!
📖 "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit — fruit that will last." — John 15:16

He chose us FIRST. Let that sink in. Rejection used to tear me up, and honestly I still have those moments — just far less frequently. Knowing that Christ Himself chose you gives you quite a drastic perspective shift. 💛
It's beautiful how the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart through God's living word and then turns around and uses you to share that truth with others. Part of my purpose is to help others know they are seen, loved, and known. The world and the enemy want to tell us everything but that — and to be transparent, I have too at times. The biggest battle is simply choosing to believe the truth that God tells us in His word over the lies we've carried.
I hope this page becomes a safe place — where people feel free to share what they struggle with, encourage one another, and share testimonies of God's goodness. 🙌

On this journey, the Holy Spirit has flipped the script in my life in so many ways. He has gently and gracefully helped rewrite the story that played in my mind for years — and even though it's painful at times, I am so thankful. God has also recently blessed me with my amazing husband, who has been such an instrument of the Holy Spirit in my life. 🤍

And the pruning? It's not comfortable — but it is necessary.
📖 "He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, so that it will be even more fruitful." — John 15:2

The things that don't serve us need to go, and the flesh sure doesn't like it! But I believe our spirit longs for that freedom. Whether the lie was put there by you, someone else, or the enemy — you don't have to stay there. You have a choice: believe the truth, or believe a lie.

I am ready to walk in truth abundantly, combat the lies that have plagued me for years, and help others do the same. Let's do this together! 🙌✨

Drop a 👋 below and introduce yourself — I'd love to know who's joining this journey!
