Resharing...Borrowed from: Simply Jecker
“I’m not dying here.”
I can’t tell you how many times in my walk with God I have declared those words.
There are so many seasons one goes through in life; seasons on the mountain top, seasons in the valley, seasons of rejoicing, seasons of weeping, seasons of refining, seasons of purifying…
In the seasons of abundance , it’s easy to give thanks.
It’s easy to worship when on the mountain top.
It’s easy to praise when you’re in a season of favor.
But when the storms of life come, when fiery arrows are being shot from every direction, when the crushing and the pressing come, many fold up their tent.
Many lose their hallelujah in the wilderness.
Many stop praising when held to the fire.
In the valley of dry bones, you have a decision to make, will you die there or will you strike the ground until you have victory?
Will you be scattered in the wilderness or will prophecy over the dead places?
Will you forfeit what God has ordained for your life or will you contend for your breakthrough?
You have to have grit to overcome.
You have to declare that you aren’t dying in the storm; that the waters won’t consume you.
You have to trust that you won’t die in the fire; for there will be another with you in the flames.
You have to make up your mind that you aren’t dying in the valley; for the God who was with you on the mountain is the same God who will walk you through that valley.
You aren’t going to be defeated.
You won’t be taken out.
Your enemies won’t have victory.
You won’t die in the desert.
You may be in a season of adversity.
You may be in a time of refining.
You may be being pressed on every side.
But you will cross over into a new season if you refuse to quit in the valley.
You aren’t dying here.
