Good mornin' folks...

Folks, ask yourself this question... What Are You Thankful For?

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV)

I have been using 1 Thessalonians 5:18 several times lately because it’s an important reminder to thank our Father for our blessings. When we give thanks, we are filled with such a wonderful feeling, it gives us a whole different kind of perspective. We go outside of our stresses and complaints to focus on the good! So, this morning start Counting your blessings and give the Lord "Thanks" for All He has given you and done for you.. folks, Don’t take your precious blessings for granted. God is gracious and loves us all! Praise His Holy name in thanksgiving...and...Remember...God's gotcha folks...have a gooden

"Pumpkin Prayer"

{cut off top of pumpkin}
Lord, open my mind so I can learn new things about you.

{remove innards}
Remove the things in my life that don’t please you.
Forgive the wrong things I do and help me to forgive others.

{cut open eyes}
Open my eyes to see the beauty you’ve made in the world around me.

{cut out nose}
I’m sorry for the times I’ve turned my nose at the good food you provide.

{cut out mouth}
Let everything I say please You.

{light the candle}
Lord, help me show your light to others through the things I do. Amen

Folks, when You Are DOWN to NOTHING... God Is UP To SOMETHING! Have FAITH in God and don't give up..

Let's pray together this morning....

Heavenly Father, You have given us this new day. We ask You to renew our heart with your strength and purpose. Forgive us for the errors of yesterday and bless us to walk closer in Your way today. Father, shine through us so that every person we meet today may feel your presence in our soul. Take our hand, precious Lord, for we cannot make it by ourselves. Just thought I'd share this again about the biscuits....good read

A while back I read a story of a visiting pastor who attended a men's breakfast in the middle of a rural farming area of the country.

The group had asked an older farmer, decked out in bib overalls, to say grace for the morning breakfast.

"Lord, I hate buttermilk", the farmer began. The visiting pastor opened one eye to glance at the farmer and wonder where this was going. The farmer loudly proclaimed, "Lord, I hate lard." Now the pastor was
growing concerned. Without missing a beat, the farmer continued, "And Lord, you know I
don't much care for raw white flour". The pastor once again opened an
eye to glance around the room and saw that he wasn't the only one to
feel uncomfortable.

Then the farmer added, "But Lord, when you mix them all together and
bake them, I do love warm fresh biscuits. So Lord, when things come up that we don't like, when life gets hard, when we don't understand what you're saying to us, help us to just relax and wait until you are done mixing. It will probably be even better than biscuits Amen."


Within that prayer there is great wisdom for all when it comes to
complicated situations like we are experiencing in the world today.

Stay strong, my friends, because our LORD is mixing several things
that we don't really care for, but something even better is going to
come when HE is done with it. AMEN

Folks, sometimes we just need to be reminded that WE ARE GOING TO BE OKAY!! No matter what happens today....YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE IT THROUGH....Why? Because, JESUS IS WITH YOU like He's always been. Everything around you may change but HE WILL STILL BE THERE, walking with you, fighting for you, loving you. So don't worry about what today will bring. The One who gave up His very life for you will take care of you.
