Miss Ta'ja and Ms. Shemika are helping the kids to strengthen their knowledge of the Books of the Bible and their sections thru interactive learning! Tonight challenege was to run to section name of the Book called out in 10 seconds.

🚨 UPDATE – Warming Shelter Opening 🚨

In partnership with the Red Cross, we will open the Family Life Center (Gym) as a 24-hour warming shelter beginning Friday, January 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM, and it will remain open until weather conditions improve.

Important information to know:
• Cots and blankets will be provided
• Please bring a pillow if you prefer one
• Pets are welcome 🐾
– Pets must be in a kennel or on a leash
– Any pet not in a kennel must remain leashed at all times

At the start of 2025, we had a class project to make a one year planner. Each kid was challenged to use the planner to track spending time with Jesus daily. We told the kids, at the end of the year bring the planner back and show us that you made an effort to regularly pray and/or read the Bible.

Miss Michelle has been the only one to bring theirs back. Many of the kids stated they lost theirs, didn't complete, or forgot about it entirely. Not only did Michelle keep up, but EVERY day was marked off 😍 Such an accomplishment!! For being the only one and completing every day, we felt this needed a special recognition. Michelle was awarded $12, one dollar for every month. Prizes are usually awarded thru a point system and are trinkets or small toys. We wanted this to be separate and special because she set herself apart from the crowd and made a daily special time for Jesus.
