Today, we are pleased to recognize Megan Gannon, who will serve as one of the cantors for the Rite of Dedication of Altar and Church at Our Lady of Angels Parish West Park on July 19, 2026.

Megan faithfully shares her gift of music as cantor for the 4:00 PM Vigil Mass at St. Patrick's Parish West Park and enjoys collaborating with musicians from other parishes throughout the Diocese of Cleveland.

A graduate of Cleveland State University, Megan also had the opportunity to sing with The Cleveland Orchestra during her college years—an experience that helped shape her musical journey.

We are grateful for Megan's talent, dedication, and willingness to lend her voice to this historic celebration.

Cantor Highlight: Somto Igboaka

Today, we are pleased to recognize Somto Igboaka, who will serve as Bass Section Leader and Cantor for the Dedication Altar and Church at Our Lady of Angels Parish West Park on July 19, 2026.
A parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Church - Cleveland for more than nine years, Somto joined the choir in 2024 and regularly sings at the 9:00 AM Mass.

When he first considered joining the choir, Somto was hesitant because he lacked confidence in his singing ability. Through the encouragement of others—and a gentle push from the Holy Spirit—he decided to take a chance.

Today, he is grateful for that decision and is excited to be part of this historic celebration at Our Lady of Angels Parish.
Thank you, Somto, for your dedication, leadership, and willingness to share your gifts with the Church.

This Monday, May 25, we as a country celebrate Memorial Day. Its a day in which we remember all those who died while in service to our country. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The parish offices will be closed, and will reopen on Tuesday morning, May 26.
