🍂🦃 Thanksgiving Blessings from Lincoln Garden Church of Christ 🦃🍂

As we gather with family, friends, and loved ones this Thanksgiving, we pause to give thanks to God for His faithfulness, provision, and grace. Scripture reminds us, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever” (Psalm 107:1).

We are grateful for our Lincoln Garden Church family—your prayers, service, generosity, and commitment to walking in love with one another. We thank God for every testimony, every act of kindness, and every opportunity to serve our community.

This season, may our gratitude extend beyond words and be reflected in compassion, humility, and service to others. As Colossians 3:17 encourages us, “Whatever you do… do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

From our church family to yours, we wish you a safe, joyful, and blessed Thanksgiving. May your hearts be full, your homes be warm, and your tables surrounded by love.

🌾 Operation Neighbor’s Table: Emergency Food Box Drive

From the Office of Minister Taurean Morton | Lincoln Garden Church of Christ

Family, we’re stepping up to serve our community! ❤️

Because of the government shutdown, many furloughed workers and SNAP benefit recipients in our area are struggling to put food on the table. Let’s respond with compassion and action.

We’re launching Operation Neighbor’s Table — a food-box outreach to bless families affected by the shutdown. Every member, friend, and partner of Lincoln Garden can make a difference, starting this week! 🙌

🧺 Each Food Box Should Include:

Canned Goods:
🥫 2 veggies • 2 fruits • 2 meats (tuna/chicken/chili)

Dry Goods:
🍚 1 box cereal or oatmeal • 1 bag rice • 1 box pasta • 1 jar sauce • 1 jar peanut butter • 1 sleeve crackers

Essentials:
🧻 1 roll toilet paper • 1 roll paper towels • 1 bar soap

Optional Add-Ons:
☕ Instant coffee or tea • Shelf-stable milk or juice • Kids’ snacks

📅 Timeline to Donate

📦 Collection Begins: Wednesday, Nov. 5
📦 Final Drop-Off: Sunday, Nov. 16
🤝 Sorting & Distribution: Nov. 17–19

📍 Drop items off in the church cafeteria
⏰ Wednesdays 5:30 – 7 PM | Sundays 9:30 AM – 1 PM
