HOW TO TREAT PERSONAL ENEMIES
Many people are inundated with the desire to know who their arch enemies are.
But one question I ask myself is this?
If a fortune teller came to meet Joseph in the pit, and "revealed" to him that it was his brothers who plotted his downfall, how would that have changed his destiny? He knew that already, mehn!
Or maybe if it was in the King's prison that a so-called "prophet " came to meet him, to reveal to him that Potiphar's wife was the enemy of his destiny, how would that solve the malady he found himself?
Or maybe if a powerful psychic came to Daniel in the Lion's den to tell him the names of all the people hunting for his head, would that have brought him out?
As good as these fortune tellers are, much of what they do is to tell us who and what is doing us, but then they tell they can help us to kill your enemies.
Do they show us our real destinies?
Do they show us that those enemies were actually needed to push out of our comfort zones towards the paths to becoming the President of Egypt?
Do they show us that without those enemies, some of us may never enter the place God actually wants us to get to?
They make us focus on the past, while leaving our future blank.
Imagine if Joseph had put poison inside the food he took to his brothers and they had died before selling him to the Amalekites?
You know the answer? Right?
So Jesus told us what to do to our enemies in Matthew 5 verses 44 and 45
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you:
That ye may be the children of your Father which is heaven: for he maketh the sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust"
We are to always thank God for the past, take charge of the present, while we focus on the dream of a beautiful future that God has promised us.
He has promised to make us the head, and not the tail. He has promised us victory and not defeat. He said He will never leave us nor forsake us. He has not changed from the time of the fathers of faith. He will never fail us today.
So let those who know how to kill their enemies continue to do so.
And let those who want to fulfil destiny, do as God has instructed.
