On this Juneteenth, we remember, we reflect, and we rejoice.
June 19, 1865, marks the day when freedom finally reached the last of the enslaved in Galveston, Texas — a powerful reminder that while justice may be delayed, it is never forgotten by God.

As believers, we celebrate the dignity and worth of every person, created in the image of God.

We give thanks for deliverance, honor the legacy of those who endured injustice, and remain committed to walking humbly, loving mercy, and doing justice (Micah 6:8).

May this day stir our hearts toward unity, healing, and hope in Christ.

To say that I’m honored to serve in the Church of God International World Missions department as a mission’s representative, seems a bit insufficient. So I’ll add blessed, and sincerely appreciative to our General Overseer Dr. Gary Lewis and all the members of the International Executive Committee for this appointment.

It is indeed a privilege to serve under the leadership of COGWM General Director, Dr. Thomas Propes and Assistant Director, Dr. David Ramirez along with all the COGWM team. I look forward to strengthening existing partnerships as well as working to form new ones in support of the global vision and mission of reaching the least, the last, & the lost.
