Welcome to the Ministry of the Olivet Institutional Baptist church. We are a manifestation of 80 years of love and service.

Reaching Higher and Growing Stronger

Olivet's sixth pastor, the Reverend Jawanza Karriem Colvin, is a powerful, energetic visionary leader. As Olivet looks to the future, its takes hold of a new vision under his leadership which builds on the church's legacy and re-imagines the possibilities of this present age. Pastor Colvin's vision of "Reaching Higher and Growing Stronger" challenges Olivet to:

• Inspire our Congregation to a Deeper Commitment to Christ
• Engage our Community through Outreach and Advocacy
• Innovate our Ministry through Technology and Best Practices
• Integrate Tradition and Contemporary Innovation for Vibrant Worship
• Expand our Ministries to Address Broader Spiritual and Social Needs
• Increase the Stewardship Commitment of our Skills and Resources
