Life has a funny way of throwing curve balls at each of us, and many times: we miss the ball, get frustrated, throw our glove in the dirt, and walk off the field. Today I am challenged to stay on the field, hold my position, and stand ready for the next ball. I know I am on the winning team, I know I must be ready at all times. Sometimes fear of failure, fear of humiliation, fear of defeat cause me to want to run. But today I am standing in my fear, when I have done all I can do I shall stand, ready, prepared.
When the highlights of my game is being recapped I want to be listed as one who stayed in the game. I want to be remembered as one who never gives up. I want to have the courage to stand when the odds are stacked against me. I want to be calm when my fears are trying to choke me. And I don’t want to make a move with God.

Lord, straighten my path, calm my fears, and give me the courage for the trials of the day. Lord today I include you in all my decisions, so that in the end my life will be worth the recap.

Class today is cancelled! We have the adult fellowship in the pavilion. Join us outside there will be hot coco, cider and desserts.
