About The Anchor Holds Sailors Mission:
The Anchor Holds Sailors Mission is a ministry/mission dedicated to helping the lost become found through the Atoning Blood of Jesus Christ. This Maritime based ministry is a direct result of the Holy Spirit placing it upon the Founder (a First Officer and Pilot upon the fresh waters of the Great Lakes; a Sailor himself) of this mission, urgency to reach
sailors of all types with the gospel of Jesus Christ which prayerfully will result in making Fishers of Men. You see, at the beginning of Jesus Christ’s ministry here on earth, He first sought out four rough and tough men of the sea (fishermen) to help Him carry out and spread the good news of the gospel. This Maritime Mission hopes that by planting gospel seeds along the shores of the Great Lakes and into its deeps that the Kingdom of God will be glorified and any lost sailors/people will find salvation by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into their heart. The Anchor Holds Mission/Ministry will also seek to uncover false doctrine by exposing Satan’s plan to destroy the church, this country and the individual believer/non-believer. We believe that The Fountain of Living Waters is poured into those who are drinking sound doctrine. This Founder of this Ministry is also the author and editor of a quarterly newsletter publication called “A Christian Sailor Newsletter – The Anchor Holds”. This newsletter is intended to reach as many Great Lakes ships as it can in prayerful hopes that one day we will reach them all. The Anchor Holds Mission along with the quarterly newsletter publication will be addressing a variety of subjects all relating to furthering the Kingdom of God. We intend to stand firmly planted in proclaiming Truth with Love along with the Boldness Jesus Christ displayed during His Great Mission here on earth. Another monumental call upon this mission is to distribute KJV Expositors Study Bibles to every ship upon the Great Lakes waterway system. This includes distribution to all tugs, fishing vessels, United States Coast Guard (USCG), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Boarder Protection (CBP), and local sheriff police boats. This truly is a monumental task and only by God’s doing is this going to be possible; we believe it can be done. The Anchor Holds Mission also has a great concern for the youth of this country, specifically the unsaved but highlighting the youth of today’s church. We must NOT mislead our children and train them under false ways. So many youth within the church and this country are misguided and this ministry would like to come along side, intercede with prayer and even provide them with an exciting role within The Anchor Holds Mission/Ministry. Our young people today (2013) are faced with enormous amounts of peer pressure and a floundered system that is so confusing. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best serving spirit we can offer as imperfect human beings under the direction of the Lord God in Heaven by way of the Holy Spirit.
