Revelation 1:3 - "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
-----
Diligent study of God's Word (the Bible) helps us grow spiritually, becoming more like Christ. Thank God for the gift of His Word and spend time learning from it today.

Nehemiah 8:8 - "So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading."
-----
While all of us need to immerse ourselves in the Word of God on our own, there is no substitute for regularly gathering as the people of God to hear the Bible clearly explained and applied. See you at church!

John 1:29 "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."
-----
"The only cure for sin or failure of any kind is God's grace applied to our lives. This is what changes the stumbling sinner into a person living victoriously for Jesus Christ." (Charles Stanley)
Even before you knew Him, Jesus knew and loved you. He loves you so much that He gave his life for you with no guarantee that you would ever love Him back. It was His love that saved you, and it is His love that will keep you throughout eternity.

Psalm 89:6 - "For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?"
-----
Though other people will fail us - either for intentional or unintentional reasons - God never will; He will always be a much better help to us than any person could hope to be.
(Charles Stanley)

Luke19:10 "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."
-----
Jesus, the true Shepherd, compared His love for sinners to a shepherd searching for one lost sheep. This shepherd left his other ninety-nine sheep safe in the fold to seek the missing one. Imagine the shepherd's relief and joy when he finally carried the wandering one home.
Jesus has this same love for you. He wants you to know your infinite value, to come to Him and rest in His care.

Psalm 18:2 - "The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower."
-----
Begin each day by affirming your trust in God's provision and protection. Never doubt that His goodness and mercy are following you each day.
