Key To A Long, Happy Marriage:

I was talking to an older gentleman yesterday, and somehow the conversation drifted towards him being married for 32 years. He asked me if I wanted to know what the secret to a long, happy marriage is?

Well of course the answer would be yes, and so he replied God and communication. I have meditated on these words for a day and half now, just really absorbing them and it came to me that this is the actual recipe for a long, happy marriage. With God, He will guide us on how to act with our spouses, He will teach us what selfless love looks like. Then in the times that we will fall short, a good line of communication will allow us to work through the difficult times as one flesh.

Angels...

Be mindful of the people around you, the common belief is angels wear long flowing dresses but mine came in a Hulk Size package. A chance meeting, that at first was brushed off as just another job. He has became an inspiration, a fire and a push into the life that God has promised.

Take time to speak life into people in your day to day life because you never know when God has anointed you to be someone's angel.

"When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset." Exdous 17:12

Does clay not have to be stretched and worked by the potters hands to be brought into greatness?

If you are comfortable be cautious of where you are in life.

For it is in the seasons of being uncomfortable that we begin to grow, because we are being stretched into a new role or a new person that God has ordained us to be.

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." James 1:22

I am so blessed to be able to work with such Kingdom Minded servants. We had a wonderful turn out today in Melrose. As much as I have loved the road, it is nice to be home working in our backyard, with our people. I thank God for each group and individual that came out today to love on this wonderful community. I pray a hedge of protection and favor until we meet again. Keep on pushing, hell's too close to our people, we have to keep pushing it back!
