“Strengthen, O Lord, your servant with your Holy Spirit; empower them for your service; and sustain them all the days of their life.” (Book of Common Prayer)

This past Sunday, we were blessed to welcome Bishop Justin Holcomb back to St. Matthias for his second visit with our parish as he led a beautiful service of Confirmation, Reception, and Reaffirmation of Faith.

It was a joyful occasion as members of our parish took this important step in their faith journeys, surrounded by the love and support of our church family. We are deeply grateful to Bishop Holcomb for his leadership, kindness, and prayers, and to everyone who joined us in celebrating these sacred promises and renewed commitments.

May God continue to guide and strengthen all those who were confirmed, received, and reaffirmed, and may St. Matthias always be a place where faith is nurtured and lived out in love. 🕊️✨
