✨He is RISEN! ✨

As we celebrate Resurrection Day, we are reminded of the transformative power of hope and faith. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ teaches us that even in the face of great adversity and darkness, there is always the possibility of a new beginning. He died so that we may live.

Let us also reflect on the profound message of love that the Resurrection brings. Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for us, and his Resurrection is a symbol of the transformative power of selflessness, compassion, & perfect love. Happy Resurrection Day!

🎉 Congratulations 🎉

We congratulate this student for his hard work in achieving his prize! He conducted an in-depth study of the Book of James, carefully analyzing it with the principles of exegesis, which involved studying the text's original language, historical context, and literary form to gain a deeper understanding of its meaning. Let's celebrate his dedication and effort!

Last Sabbath, our 10-14 year old group played Jenga. Jenga & Jesus.

While playing, we discussed the topic of self-control and drew parallels between the game and Jesus' teachings.

In Jenga, players need to maintain stability, balance, and perseverance while carefully removing blocks from the tower without causing it to fall. Similarly, in life, individuals strive to maintain a sense of stability and balance amidst various challenges, which requires self-control.

Jesus often encouraged his followers to have faith, perseverance, and resilience during adversity, and through his teachings and examples, he emphasized the importance of relying on the Father, and self-control. As the children played the game, they recognized that self-control is a skill that requires positive self-talk, believing in oneself, and trusting in God's ability to help them develop this skill.

Luke 21:19: “By your endurance you will gain your lives."

In this verse, Jesus is speaking to his disciples about the hardships they will face in the future and encourages them to have self-control and endurance in the face of adversity. This verse emphasizes the importance of maintaining self-control and perseverance even when faced with difficult circumstances.

Although Jenga & Jesus may seem like an unlikely duo, our group found a common theme in the importance of self-control. We strive to maintain stability, balance, and perseverance in both the game and in life, let us remember Jesus' teachings and Luke 21:19, and keep calm and Jenga on!

Did you know that our Pastor undergoes regular audits? 👀

Our kids take the message VERY seriously and ensure that Jesus’s name is mentioned several times throughout the message. 🤣

All jokes aside we find it heartwarming to see our children actively engaged during the sermon in the sanctuary, taking notes and reflecting on the message. They are eager to share their thoughts & pictures at the end! let us know in the comments if you want to see our favorites.
