In this past Sunday's gospel, Peter didn't get corrected for being wrong about who Jesus is. He got corrected for being wrong about what that meant Jesus had to do.

Today the Church celebrates Saint Augustine, a brilliant student, restless seeker, and eventually one of our greatest teachers of the faith. His mother, Saint Monica, prayed for his conversion for over a decade before it happened.

For our town filled with students and scholars, he's a great Saint to get to know. He is proof that real learning is about more than just the mind. It's about the heart finding its way home to God.

Wherever you are in bringing your heart fully to God at the beginning of this new school year, know that you are not alone and that your Saint Andrew family is here to journey with you.

We hope to begin continuous adoration again this coming week
 but we can’t start until we are confident that Jesus will not be left alone!

Some of our Church’s newest Saints had deep devotion to Jesus present in the Eucharistic. And their time spent in Adoration helped form them into the young Saints we venerate today.

Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati was known for keeping vigil in the adoration chapel all night long.

Saint Carlo Acutis also had a deep devotion to the Eucharist. He said, "When we face the sun we get a tan, but when we stand before Jesus in the Eucharist we become saints."

🏈 Volunteers needed for the Saint Andrew Parish Youth Ministry Football Parking Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up... but more than half of our spots are still open, and we need you to fill them!

If we can staff all 7 Clemson home games, our parish will raise over $50,000 for Youth Ministry with very little effort. The lot opens 7–8 hours before kickoff, and volunteers work just one 3–4 hour shift: check in cars as they arrive, hand out 2026 season passes, and collect payment when spots are available. It is simple work, with very little walking required.
