A CHT original, there from the start. A man that told it like it was whether you wanted to hear it or not. He'd give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He never met a stranger and always embraced the life around him. Maxie Burdette was truly the definition of Genuine, a great friend, husband, and father. You will forever live on in our hearts and will be missed enormously. Tell your old man we said hello and that we miss him dearly as well. Cemetery Hill will never be the same but your presence will forever be felt on that special place that we all call home 7 days of every year. This win was for you Maxie, we love you!

A great Tiger fan and an incredible man. His infectious smile and warm demeanor will be deeply missed by us all. Put in a good word with the big fella upstairs for a few dry games this season.
