Monday our WELCA group (Women of the ELCA) gathered for food and time with friends. Thanks to Laura Heavner who talked about the history of our beautiful liturgical banners! Want to join next month? The next meeting is Monday, 9/28 at noon at Mayberry’s in Seneca.

Yesterday was such a great day! We had fun meeting so many new students, welcoming back students we know and love, and spending time together as a church. We are grateful to be a part of this community! 🐅

Today was Rally Day and our theme was Pajama Day! We wore our comfy pajamas, we donated pajamas to send to local families, and we collected some of our hopes & dreams for the upcoming year. It was a great day at church! Can’t wait to officially start Sunday School next week!

We always celebrate the beginning of a new school year with a Blessing of Backpacks and sending school supplies all over the world with Lutheran World Relief - 60 bags of school supplies packed yesterday! God bless y’all this year! Be kind. Be curious. Be brave.

Zach Lindler was a gift to this community and Lutheran Campus Ministry-Clemson while he was a student! We are proud to see how the Spirit leads him as he begins his ministry!

By the grace of Almighty God, your prayers and presence are requested at a celebration of Holy Communion with the Rite of Ordination for Zachary Edward Lindler into the Ministry of Word and Sacrament.

The ordination will occur on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 215 St. Thomas Church Road, Chapin, South Carolina.

The Reverend Virginia Aebischer, Bishop of the South Carolina Synod, will be presiding and preach at this ordination.

Zachary has been called to serve as pastor of St. James Lutheran Church, Graniteville, South Carolina.

All ordained, consecrated, and commissioned ministers are invited to join. Red is the color of the day.
