Mata Hindu Temple of Winston Salem Our Panchayatana Temple is Devi Panchayatana Temple. Prana Pratishta ceremony for murtis was celebrated during June 6 - 9 2019.

Sri Lalitha Mata in the center with Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Aditya and Lord Balaji at SE, SW, NW and NE positions. A Hindu Temple stands for Tranquility, Education, Meditation, Purification, Love and Engagement. A Hindu temple is a spiritual destination for the devotees. A temple is a place for Tirtha - pilgrimage. It is a sacred site whose ambience and design attempts to symbolically condense the ideal tenets of Hindu way of life and celebrate the four important and necessary principles of human life - the pursuit of Artha , the pursuit of Kama, the pursuit of Dharma and the pursuit of Moksha. A Hindu Temple is a place for worship and prayer where the inner soul evolves into a fruit, a flower, a fragrance, a hope, a liberation, a light. Om Hindu Org of NC and Sri Mata Shaktipeetham with the generous support from the triad community are working towards building a traditional Hindu temple in greater Winston Salem area. Building a temple is a process of building the community itself, a tribute to our parents & our upbringing and a gift to our next generation. With a temple in the town allows us to have the celebrations, festivals, daily rituals, special events throughout the year – where everyone can come with their family and friends and have peaceful, friendly gatherings.
