A Prayer for Our Community
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up our community and every person who calls it home. Lord, You know every family, every need, every struggle, and every heart; even the ones carrying burdens no one else can see.
We ask You to place Your hand of protection over our homes, schools, churches, businesses, first responders, and community leaders. Give wisdom to those making decisions, strength to those who serve, comfort to those who are hurting, and provision for those who are struggling.
Father, bring us together. Where there is division, bring unity. Where there is loneliness, bring fellowship. Where there is fear, bring peace. Where there is hopelessness, remind us that our hope is found in You.
Help us to notice our neighbors and to be willing to serve one another with kindness, compassion, and grace. Let our churches be lights in this community; places where people can find truth, love, encouragement, and most importantly, Jesus.
We pray for the children growing up here, the families building their lives here, and the generations who have called this community home. May our community be a place where people care for one another, where faith grows, and where Your love is evident in the way we live.
Lord, we know our community needs You. May revival begin in our own hearts and overflow into our homes, our churches, and the streets around us.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
