"Family"

https://youtu.be/xd7VNilRNns

The Bible begins and ends with Marriage & Family.

God opens the Bible with the marriage of Adam & Eve and closes it with the the marriage of Christ and His Bride. Family is the foundation of creation. Before any human government or nation God established marriage and family, as the building block of human society.

Josh. 24:15 But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my FAMILY, we will serve the LORD.”

When Joshua stands for God he speaks as a Family.

Nations and empires derive their power, not from government but from Families. What happens in Families determines the course of nations. When Families abandon Truth nations drift into chaos and collapse. Consider the evidence…

In our schools Objective Truth is being Dismantled. EXAMPLE: Educators are teaching our children that a man in a dress is a woman but a baby in a womb isn’t a human.

In our culture Reality is being Replaced with Social Constructs. EXAMPLE: We’ve allowed the biological reality of S*X to be replaced with the social construct of GENDER.

Our cities are replacing Law & Order with Tolerance for Lawlessness as their demonstration of Free Speech.

Throughout our country we’re committing national su***de by surrendering our communities to Islamic and Marxist invaders.

All of this insurgency is marching straight through the breach left by Families abandoning their divine assignment.

Remember the words of Joshua: But as for me and my FAMILY, WE will serve the LORD.

Family is defined by its Creator in Gen. 1:26-28…

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion…So God created man in His own image…male and female He created them. Then God BLESSED THEM, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; HAVE DOMINION…

When you align your Family with the Gen. 1:26-28 mandate you inherit God’s blessing of Fruitfulness and Dominion. But abandon the Family mandate and you lose Fruitfulness and Dominion!

From Genesis to Revelation, from Adam & Eve to Christ and His Bride, Family is defined by marriage between a biological male and biological female.

Nowhere in scripture are homos*xual unions affirmed as marriages or families. But rather condemned as an abomination, for 2 reasons:

It’s simply impossible for same s*x unions to reflect the image of God displayed in the perfect creation of Male and Female. And…

It’s impossible for homos*xuals to inherit the divine blessing to Be fruitful and multiply, and HAVE DOMINION.

Consider God’s Assignment for Family.

God composes Families with the primary structure to instill societies with:

Moral formation,
Relational stability,
Economic provision, and
The transmission of faith and values across generations.

It’s impossible for government, education and culture to assure these virtues without supporting the Genesis Family Family.

The Genesis Family is the Training Ground for the stability of society. It’s where the Virtue Platform of love, honor, and faithfulness is learned and installed.

When families set that Virtue Platform as their standard they act as the stabilizing force against social chaos, disorder, and decay.

Prov. 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

The reason why commitment to the Genesis Family is so strongly enforced throughout the Bible is because it’s the means by which God blesses and fulfill his plans for societies.Gen. 18:19 For I have chosen Abraham, so that he may command his children and his Family after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring to Abraham what he has promised him.”

1Tim. 3:4-5 An Overseer must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him. For if a man cannot manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?

Satan’s Flood of Social Disruption is designed to destroy The Family before The Family Destroys him!! For he knows that if he can disrupt the the Genesis Family he can collapse nations and dismantle empires.

But in Is. 59:19 God gives the formula for blocking Satan’s efforts…

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a STANDARD against him.

The STANDARD in Is. 59:19 was a military banner raised on a pole that served as:

A rallying point for troops.
A visible declaration of whose side you were on.
A symbol that the battle had begun and victory was being claimed.

When Satan threatens the cultural landscape with an overflowing flood his aim is to erase and reset boundaries and borders. That’s when God raises His Standard of the Genesis Family, to restore the land.

"THE GRAFT"
Monday June 1 26

Good Morning Christian and Welcome To The Morning Light!

"THE GRAFT"

Rom. 11:17 And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree.

In Jesus' famous teaching in John 15, about 'abiding in Him', He describes Himself as The Vine and we are The Branches. In His analogy Jesus presents our salvation and subsequent relationship with Him as the result of the Father grafting us into Jesus The Vine. In the business of growing grapes there is a vine, which is a trunk and root system w/ the top cut off. Then other grape branches are grafted into the trunk, and these become the branches of the vine. A vine, before the branches are grafted into it, looks like it can't survive. The branchless trunk sticking out of the ground looks dramatically barren and dead. But it's not. It's roots are very much alive. In His death, Jesus was 'cut off from among men'. Yet because of Who He is, His roots remain, reaching into eternity. Death could not kill Him. And branches have been grafted into Him ever since— including you. Yes, God cut you off from your own roots that were planted in the world's sin-cursed soil. You died to your old existence, along with sin's claims over your life. Yet today you live in Christ. For God immediately took you and grafted you into Jesus His Son, making you alive in Him—one of the branches of the Vine. Draw your life from Him!

1John 3:1-2 See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

"Let The Chips Fall"
https://youtu.be/q35LS2tXNrY

Jn. 6:48-66 I am the bread of life…He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him….At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him.

Mt. 13:10-17 Jesus’ disciples asked Him, Why do You speak to them in parables?…I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

One of the most peculiar features of Jesus’ ministry is the fat that He made no effort to use His powers of persuasion to talk people out of their misunderstandings about Him…I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

IOW, Jesus is saying, speak and act in Truth and then, Let the chips fall where they may. It’s not My, or Your, responsibility to convince people of what they have no will for.

A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.

The most life-wasting practice is trying to control what people will think, how they will react, and what will happen, if you do or say what you know you should.

Let the chips fall where they may refers to lumberjacks focusing on cutting the wood rather than worrying about where the chips fall as a result. This idiom expresses a willingness to face the results of one's actions without trying to control or alter them. It encourages you to maintain a mindset of resilience and faith in the rightness of your action, despite the uncertainty of outcomes you can’t control.

Josh. 1:8-9 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, so that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

While the idiom itself is secular, the message is deeply rooted in biblical teaching. It encourages doing what is right, while surrendering results to God’s sovereign will, and facing outcomes with trust and peace…Luke 22:42 Not my will, but yours be done.

Psa. 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.

Zealous Courage is helped by a little Thoughtfulness. But too much Thoughtfulness drains courage. Courage and Thoughtfulness can be great partners or bitter enemies. But they find their balance in the Holy Spirit.

Phil 4:6-7 Don’t be anxious about anything, but…let your requests be made known to God. And the PEACE of God will GUARD your hearts and your minds.

Nowhere is this principle more needed than when dealing with the opinions and potential reactions of people.

The Pharisees were slaves to their own need to control public opinion. And it’s what turned them into social tyrants, seeing everyone who didn’t agreed with them as enemies. This is the spirit that murdered Charlie Kirk and drives the Left today. When the Pharisees tried to trap Jesus with questions about his teaching, he simply ask them a question that guided them into their own trap…

Matt. 21:25-27 Where did John’s baptism come from? From heaven or from people?” They discussed this among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From people,’ we fear the crowd, for they all consider John to be a prophet.” So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Then he said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

Acting to avoid disapproval leads to compromise, anxiety, and loss of freedom. Today’s Culture is a Cult of Conformity, and the precursor to an Antichrist regime. Never in modern history has western culture seen such evil pressure to suppress individual free thinking and common sense.

If you want to walk free in today’s society don’t allow the demands of social justice enforcers control your mind.

Prov 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare

Gal. 1:9-10 I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed. Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

Christians lose confidence in their pastors when they see them afraid of people’s opinions. A preacher who can’t speak the truth the face of opposition, and let the chips fall where they may, can’t remain faithful to God. A cowardly preacher will always be despised.

Live your life as a Christian hero. Fearlessly walk in love and truth, and unafraid to let the chips for where they may. Because the world today is watching, desperate to see people who are courageous with right convictions.

Esth. 4:16 I will go to the king, though it is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.

Acts 4:19-20 But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”

God says, Let people think and do what they will. You do what you must, and Let the chips fall where they may.

"KILLING THE STUMP"
Thursday May 28 26

Good Morning Christian and Welcome To The Morning Light!

"KILLING THE STUMP"

Jesus said to His followers, "I am the Vine and You are the branches (Jn 15:5)". The Bible explains that we were cut off from our old life as a sinner planted in the world, and grafted into a new life in Christ. What happened to my old life? If I’m living through Christ why do I still feel and experience the old influences of the world?

As a Christian, your life is divided in 2 parts: your existence as a sinner, before you were born again in Christ, and the one you now live as a branch grafted into in Christ. We refer to it as my old life and my new life. You're now a living branch in Jesus The Vine, and a “Stump” remains where you once stood in sin. So as Paul writes in Rom. 6:11, 'you were dead in your sins but now you're alive in Christ.' But stumps don't always die right away. Those pesky shoots can continue to spring up from the old roots of the stump for a long time to come. And once you've been severed from your old life in sin, and grafted into Jesus the Vine, you will have to manage the killing off of the stump, in its efforts to regrow.

The inevitable question is, "If I'm a new being in Christ, how do I deal with the temptations springing from my old stump?" The shoots that spring from your old stump may be real, but they are unauthorized. The shoots of sin once grew from your life because you were a sinner. But now you've been cut off and grafted into Christ, where His Life is your identity. His Truth is now your authority. You can kill off the stump and the sprouts that grow from its roots, which are planted in the world. You do so every time you choose to accept and enforce the Truth of Christ over the temptations of your old life. The power of the Truth over the realities of sin are applied in you through the flow of the Life of the Vine, the Holy Spirit.

Rom. 8:13-14 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

"MY LIFE AS A BRANCH"
Wednesday May 27 26

Good Morning Christian and Welcome To The Morning Light!

"MY LIFE AS A BRANCH"

John 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.

As a branch, I live by my attachment to Jesus, and His roots have become my adopted roots. In Christ I was reborn, engrafted, as a branch on the vine. Instead of laboring for my existence in the world, I labor for my relationship to the One whose roots in Glory sustain me. Just consider the soil that He is planted in!

He is my peace — Eh 2.14
He is my healing — 2Pe 2.24
He is my provider — Phil 4.19
He is my wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption — 1Co 1.30
He is my way, truth, and life — Jn 14.6
He is every promise of GOD to me — 2Co1.20

By Jesus’ roots I am in the world…I live as an extension of Him. I don't look to my environment for life. I look to The Eternal Vine whose branch I am.

1 John 4:17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.

"The Disciple Jesus Loved” - part 2

Good Morning Christian and Welcome To The Morning Light!

"The Disciple Jesus Loved” - part 2

1John 4:10 In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Five times in his Gospel, John refers to himself as, “The Disciple Whom Jesus Loved". And it was John who gave himself that label because he saw God’s love for him as the central motivation for everything Jesus did. Similarly, your view of God’s motivation toward you will determine how you view Jesus, and relate with Him. Ask yourself the following question:

Is my relationship with Jesus defined by how I am towards Him or how He is towards me?

Many Christians see themselves as having come to Jesus more than Jesus coming to them. They see their relationship with Him more as a necessity on their part than a desire on God’s part. They see their walk with God being driven more by their decisions to pursue Him than Him pursuing them.

If you’re one of these Christians, you probably have a stronger sense of your need for Jesus than His love for you. You might typically see God’s thoughts towards you as responses to your own actions toward Him rather than His own love towards you. You might even think of Jesus’ love for you as a kind of divine utility, to assist you in loving God better. But in reality Jesus loves you because the Father’s Love for you as His child sent Him into the world to find you.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16

God loved you long before you ever responded to Him. Even while you were against Him, He was for you, and came for you. Be “the disciple Jesus loves” and you will walk with God in great favor.

We’ll learn more about it tomorrow…

"Eating With Sinners"
https://youtu.be/SsYYBOY9lmQ

Mark 2:13-17 Then He went out again by the sea; and all the multitude came to Him, and He taught them. As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi’s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him. And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “Why does He eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

The religion of Jesus’ day had been designed to keep practitioners away from sinners. It was a religion of segregation. If Jesus had parked His ministry in the Temple and synagogues of Israel instead of ministering in the public, today Christianity would be a religion of isolation, controlled by bigots and ignored by the world.

The religious elites of Jesus’ day—as well as their entire religious system—were myopic. Their entire focus was fixed on quarantining those interested in God, under strict religious management in order to keep them uncontaminated by association with sinners. The Pharisees hated Jesus public ministry because He bypassed their control system, and took God directly to the Sinners.

Take away the eating with sinners and there would be no Christianity today. There’d be no America, because Christians wouldn’t be allowed to affiliate with sinners, and that’s what made America great.

The true Church of Christ is the very opposite of the other religions who practice isolation and control. It doesn’t merely exist within its worship and fellowship services. It exists and operates through it’s people, in all their associations, AFTER they’ve left the church building.

Mark 16:20 And the disciples went OUT and preached EVERYWHERE, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs.

The power of the Church cannot survive without eating with sinners. The more its members exist in a holy huddle and stop engaging with sinners the more the Church shrivels up and loses its anointing.
John 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and OUT and find pasture.

Jesus isn’t a closet, He’s a DOOR. Following Him is about coming IN and going OUT!

The Power shows up when you go OUT!

We put so much emphasis on getting the Presence of God into our worship, and experiencing the manifestation of Spirit’s Gifts in our services, that we’ve lost sight of WHY the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples and turned them into The Church in the first place…Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Christianity is the constant out-flowing the Force of Heaven into the world. Wherever churches harden into isolationism the River of the Spirit simply moves around them in its flow out into the world!

Ezekeil’s River of Life Flowing from the Temple (Church) of God in Ezek 47:1-12 Everything Lives where the Stream Flows!

Interpretation: The Temple (People of The Church) is the starting point for the life-giving river. The vision shows THE SPIRIT-FILLED PEOPLE flowing out of the place of worship, and into the world bringing life to dead sinners.

IF you’ve longed for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in church services the key is eating with sinners, for that’s where the Holy Spirit will be working!

Mark 2:13-17 Then He went out again by the sea; and all the multitude came to Him, and He taught them. As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus si...

Good Morning Christian and Welcome To The Morning Light!

"The Disciple Jesus Loved” - part 1

John 21:20 Peter turned around and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them. (This was the disciple who had leaned back against Jesus’ chest at the meal and asked, “Lord, who is the one who is going to betray you?”)

Five times in his Gospel, John refers to himself as, “The Disciple Whom Jesus Loved". But who gave John that title? There is no indication in scripture that Jesus ever singled John out as His favorite, or referred to him as the disciple He loved. But there is a very inspiring reason why John has that label.

John came up with the idea to refer to himself as “The disciple Jesus loved”, because saw God’s love for him as the central motivation for everything Jesus did. And being certain of Jesus’ love for him, John felt confident to define himself in those terms. Perhaps other disciples may have interpreted Jesus’ motivation towards them as His sense of mission. And that would have led them to believe that His primary interest in them would have been as ministers, serving His mission.

But John exercised his prerogative to identify with Jesus’ love for him. And because he did it brought him into great favor with the Lord. Understanding God’s prime interest in you is absolutely critical if you're going to have a good relationship with Him. God is Love and that is His primary motivation toward you. So like John, you too should exercise your prerogative to identify yourself in terms of Jesus’ love for you.

More on how to do that tomorrow.

THE PORTAL, part 3 "THE AGENTS OF CHANGE"Thursday May 21 26

THE PORTAL, part 3 "THE AGENTS OF CHANGE"
Thursday May 21 26

Good Morning Christian and Welcome To The Morning Light!

THE PORTAL, part 3 "THE AGENTS OF CHANGE"

Prayer is a Portal you must pass through to enter God’s Presence. It’s a meeting, not a text message. The Portal of Prayer was not established as an aiming system for shooting requests at God, but a doorway to God. Prayer is more about “Come and get it” than “Please send it”.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Christianity was planted in the Portal of Prayer, and those who live in it are God's Agents of Change. It’s apparent that Christians were meant to live in the Portal of Prayer. And that fellowship with Jesus through prayer, is both the door to God and the door to the world. Prayer was never intended as an occasional exit ramp to refuel, on the road called life. But more like a highway we traveled through life. We approach both God and the world from the position of prayer in Christ. That's what Jesus meant by going in and out and finding pasture. As God’s Change Agents we stand between the Bounty of Heaven and the depleted of earth...between Earth’s pain and Heaven’s Love.

The Portal of Prayer is the Port of Truth. You cannot pass through w/o standing on the platform of Truth. It’s honesty, not spirituality or moral perfection, that’s needed for faith in Prayer. The blind of Earth will only see the Light of Christ in those whose own darkness has been brought into the Light. If God can get us in the Portal of Prayer He can send us from there into the world we already live in!
