I read a quote that said; “You don’t rise to the occasion you fall to your training”
This is so true!
This speaks to what is ALREADY on the inside of you-
When pressure hits there’s no magical moment where we suddenly become better versions of ourselves. We default to the work that we’ve actually put in-the discipline we’ve built (or skipped) because the moments won’t elevate us—we’ll only drop to the level we’ve prepared for-the level of our prayer life, our time in the Word, our obedience in small things, our worship, and our surrender. If we’re inconsistent now, we’ll be inconsistent then. But if we train daily in Godliness, when the pressure hits, we’ll stand firm—not by our own power, but by the habits the Spirit has built in us.
