FATHER'S DAY AT LIVING STONES | 5 SPEAKERS | SUN 06-21-26
"Faith From Our Fathers"

This Father's Day, our church family experienced something special—a Preach-a-thon featuring five different speakers, each sharing a short message that God had placed on their hearts.

What made this day remarkable is that none of the speakers were given a topic, theme, or direction. The only instruction was simple: "See what the Holy Spirit says to you." Yet as each message unfolded, a beautiful thread emerged—faithfulness, identity, surrender, spiritual warfare, legacy, and the loving pursuit of our Heavenly Father all pointing to God's transforming work in our lives.

GORDON GOERTZ – "From Faith to Faithfulness"
Through the story of Joseph, Gordon explored the difference between faith and faithfulness, showing how obedience often begins before we fully understand God's plan. Faithfulness is trusting God enough to obey, even when the outcome isn't clear.

LARRY WELD – "God Is a Good Father"
Larry shared heartfelt insights about suffering and the Father's love. Through life's trials, God remains present, patient, and faithful—carrying us through difficult seasons and drawing us into deeper relationship with Him.

BARRY SULLIVAN – "Fruit That Remains"
Looking at the legacy of the Rechabites and the words of Jesus in John 15, Barry challenged us to consider what kind of impact our lives will leave behind. True legacy is not found in reputation, but in fruit that remains through lives touched and transformed.

DENNIS BARNES – Spiritual Warfare & Kingdom Dependence
Dennis reminded us that our greatest battles are often fought in our minds. Through God's powerful weapons, believers can overcome strongholds, reject self-reliance, and live from a posture of humility and dependence upon the Lord.

PASTOR KEN HOPE – "The Heart of the Father"
Closing the morning, Pastor Ken unpacked the story of the Prodigal Son, revealing a Father's heart that pursues, restores, and releases inheritance. God's love doesn't simply forgive—it restores identity, authority, freedom, and purpose.

Whether you're a father, a son, a daughter, or simply someone seeking encouragement, these five messages reveal a powerful truth: God is faithfully working in our lives, calling us deeper into His purpose and drawing us closer to His heart.

LSC float & feast fellowship with Baptisms at the Barnes’ home … amazing barbecue ribs & meatloaf with so many incredible side dishes… great feast for sure! The baptisms were so special too … so thankful for church family!!
