Evangelism in Depth Ministry (EID) promotes the concept
of Total Mobilization - preparing the believer to give a verbal testimony of their faith in Christ, while assisting the local church in establishing a new attitude about evangelism. Utilizing seminars or conferences where Biblical principles and concepts about evangelism are clearly presented, EID helps believers realize their natural evangel

istic abilities, as well as overcome their fears and worries about sharing Christ. The result is a multiplication of Christian communicators,
excited about fulfilling God's command to share Christ with
a lost world.

EID Principle #7 – Ministry of Reconciliation

In 2Corinthians 5:18-19 we read that God has entrusted his children with the ministry of reconciliation. Reconciliation means putting two parties on friendly terms who were once enemies. God desires to be on friendly terms with you. Unfortunately, our sins against Him, has caused a break in our relationship. Our sin results in a certain death and an eternity apart from God. Fortunately, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to restore us to a right relationship. Jesus’ perfect life and death in our place, allows you and I to be put back on friendly terms with Father God. All we must do is ask Jesus into our hearts and to forgive us of our sins. Then we will be reconciled to God!

God has entrusted us with this message. What an awesome and wonderful task. God loves us and trusts us to be His voice to the world. To let others know they can have a personal relationship with the creator of all.

Evangelism in depth is an insightful, biblical look at evangelism from God's point of view. Focusing on what the Bible says about the topic of evangelism, it liberates and empowers believers to step into their God-given potential, while overturning misgivings about evangelism. This is accomplished through immersive teaching and follow up seminars and workshops in the ongoing assignment of new evangelism and depth teachers and leaders.
The result is believers from around the globe and from every walk of life becoming an expanding force of gospel communicators, freed from fear and inhibitions, and sharing Christ with the lost world!

EID Principle #6 – Let God Lead

The book of Acts recounts the explosive growth of the early Church. Simply stated, this was accomplished by the first Christians yielding to God’s leading in every circumstance. God did not provide a specific system or technique, but in every situation, He used the believer to reach the lost effectively in each individual, specific and unique circumstance. How do we accomplish this today? By yielding to the leading of God. Yielding includes 3 important elements; 1) The importance of the present. If God gives you a word for someone or prompts you to do something, act now because it is the only time you will have power to accomplish it. 2) Working within our sphere of influence. God has given each of us neighbors, coworkers, associates, friends and family that all need salvation. Be open to God’s leading in how to reach them. 3) The power of spontaneity. This means to be unstructured, unrehearsed and natural in your sharing with the lost. The Bible says, “For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say” (Luke 12:11-12) and “the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26).

EID Principle #5 – Each of us does a small amount. In the Bible the book of Acts gives an account of the explosive growth of the early church. Acts 1:15 records that there were 120 disciples in 30 AD. By 63 AD there were approximately 100,000 believers according to Acts 21:20. This is nearly a 1,000 fold increase in 30 years! This was done because each believer did a small amount of work which, when multiplied by all believers, resulted in huge results. Be reminded that the church leadership mostly stayed in Jerusalem together, but the lay people were dispersed and carried the gospel news with them. The same principle applies today. If each one of us will do a small part by naturally sharing the gospel according to our gifts with friends, family and coworkers, a lot will be accomplished!

Over the past weekend, I was blessed to attend a Men's Retreat sponsored by our Church. The topic was Discipleship. The key text was Matthew 28:18-20; "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

A couple of brief observations. First, we are all commanded to make disciples. Second, Jesus who has been given all authority promises to be with us. Third, God tells us what it is to disciple, to baptize and to teach folks to observe all that Jesus has commanded. What a blessing that God trusts us with this important work of growing and encouraging His Kingdom!

Follow up from our last post/prayer request for a Kids Evangelism Event in Nairobi, Kenya: I am writing to inform you, we had a great day for the children on Saturday. The good news is about 50 children gave their lives to Christ. It was worth the sacrifice. Thanks for your prayers. God bless you.

Here is a request from one of our support churches in Nairobi Kenya:

Tomorrow our church will be hosting hundreds of children from the community for evangelism. We will be feeding them as well as giving them a gift from Samaritan's Purse.

The last program we did together saw our Church Sunday School increase by 30 children who are still active today. We hope that tomorrow we will add some more. Who knows we may have a future Pastor or world missionary.

We desire your prayers for this great event. May tomorrow's program touch the souls of these innocent angels who are living in a very evil world.

Yesterday in church service, the pastor spoke of unity. How the triune Godhead is in unity and how we as the church are commanded to be in unity as well. We as a church can have difference of opinions and preferences, but must be aligned on the truth the bible sets forth. The bible is truth (John 17:17), Jesus is truth (John 14:6). We must live in truth (John 8:32). Being unified in truth as outlined in Ephesians 4:1-6, means there will be unity in the gospel message (Eph 4:4-6). The lost world desperately needs us, the church, to present the gospel message in unity and truth.

For my devotional this morning I read John's Gospel chapter 15. In the first couple of verses Christ is addressing the 11 disciples and states that He is the Vine and his Father is the Vinedresser. In verse 5 Jesus goes on to say, "Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." Our efforts outside the will of our Father are useless. It is so easy for me to start something in the Spirit only to try to pry it away and do it on my own once momentum is gained. May we always remember that apart from the Vine, I can do nothing.
