Today at HydeWes, we had the privilege of celebrating Child Dedications with several families who publicly declared their desire to raise their children to know and follow Jesus. What a sacred moment.

These moments are never just about the children.
They’re about parents saying, “We can’t do this alone.”
They’re about a church family saying, “You won’t have to.”

We prayed.
We celebrated.
We committed ourselves again to being the kind of church where the next generation can grow rooted in Christ.

There’s something powerful about hearing little voices, seeing nervous smiles, watching grandparents beam with joy, and remembering that faith is always meant to be passed from generation to generation.

We love these families deeply and we’re honored to walk alongside them.

HOPE HAS RISEN!

All across our community—and all over the world—churches are gathering to celebrate the same good news:

Jesus is alive!

We’re grateful to be one of many lifting His name today… and every day.

We invite you to join us as we gather to remember and celebrate the life of our dear sister, Linda Schwartz.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12th from 3:00–4:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4:00 PM, here at Hyde Wesleyan Church.

Linda was a cherished part of our church family, and we are grateful for the hope we share in Christ even as we grieve her loss. We welcome all who knew and loved her to come, support the family, and honor her life together.

Please continue to lift Linda’s family in your prayers during this time.

Tonight was our final Community Meal of the school year at HydeWes! What a great season it’s been—sharing food, laughter, and life together around the table.

Thank you to everyone who cooked, served, and showed up each month to make these nights extra-special.

We’ll take a break for the summer, but Community Meals will return in October. We can’t wait to gather again!

Clearfield is still the kind of town where Easter matters.

On Easter Sunday (April 5), churches all across our community will gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Different congregations.
Different traditions.
One living Savior!

We are grateful to live in a community where churches care more about being the Church together than building our own names.

Hope is rising across Clearfield!

Local churches:
Share your Easter service times in the comments so our neighbors can easily find a place to celebrate.

Clearfield friends:
Where will you be celebrating Easter this year?

______

Hope is rising across Clearfield.

Many churches. One risen Savior.

That’s the kind of town Clearfield still is.

KID BLAST was in full swing tonight with games, laughter, learning about Jesus, and a whole lot of fun. We’re so thankful for the incredible team of teen and adult leaders who invest their time each week to pour into the lives of these kids.

Take a look at some of the moments from tonight!

Kids are growing in faith, friendships are forming, and God is doing something special in the next generation.

In this third week of Lent, we’re continuing a simple invitation:

Less of me.
More of Him.

This week we’re paying attention to something many of us carry quietly — the need to control.

We try to manage outcomes.
We try to predict what’s coming.
We hold tightly to plans and expectations.

Sometimes we even try to manage God.

But trust begins where control loosens its grip.

Lent invites us to open our hands again.

To remember that God is already at work in the places we feel the most uncertain.

To trust His wisdom more than our plans.
His timing more than our urgency.
His care more than our fear.

This week we’re asking:

Where might I choose less control
so there can be more trust?

Less of me.
More of Him.

What is one thing you will choose LESS of
so Christ can be MORE in you this week?

With this winter storm in the forecast, we’ve had a few folks asking if HydeWes is still gathering this Sunday.

Yes, we’re planning to gather for worship!

If we have power, water, and access to the building, we’ll be there. That said, a “snow Sunday” is rarely business as usual. Attendance may be lighter, and things may look a bit simpler, but we’ll do our best with who and what we have. (Don't fret, there WILL still be coffee!)

We'll also plan to stream both the 9:00 & 10:30 AM gatherings live on Facebook and YouTube, as long as internet service allows.

Please use your best judgment when navigating road and weather conditions. There is no pressure—your safety matters.

Whether you join us in person or online, we look forward to worshiping together!
