A prominent member of our community, Br. Osman Pathan, has passed away. Br. Osman Pathan was the original owner of Halal Market and a strong pillar of our community.

إنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return.

Janazah will be *Tomorrow*, Wednesday, July 5, at *2:30 PM* at Khadeeja Cemetery.

May Allah (SWT) bless the deceased with Janat Al-Firdous and grant patience to the family. Ameen!

2023 Eid-Al-Adha Announcement:

Salaam-Wa-Lay-Kuam,

Inshaallah, Eid will be on Wednesday, June 28.

Eid Prayer will be held at 9:00 am sharp on Wednesday, June 28 at Al-Farooq Masjid. Please arrive earlier enough to prepare for prayer. Remember that this maybe a workday for many brothers and sisters.

Please be mindful of the Parking and DO NOT Park in front of the Grocery Store.

Eid Prayer will be held at 9:00 am sharp on Friday, April 21 at Al-Farooq Masjid. Please arrive earlier enough to prepare for prayer.

***Zakat-ul-Fitr is a minimum of $8.00 per every family member in the household and it is the responsibility of the head of household to pay this amount before Eid ***

Inshaallah, Eid will be on Monday, May 2nd.

Since the moon was not sighted anywhere in North America.

Eid Prayer will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, May 2nd at Al-Farooq Majid.

***Zakat-ul-Fitr is a minimum of $10 per every family member in the household and it is the responsibility of the head of household to pay this amount before Eid ***

At this time, we encouraged everyone who attends to be in the state of Wudu.

A personal prayer rug is required at all times while praying at the Masjid.

May Allah protect everyone, Ameen.

***Important Announcement Regarding Face Coverings***

As-salamu alaykum,

Face Coverings at Al-Farqool Masjid will be optional, if you’re fully vaccinated.

If you’re unsure, if you have allergies (sneezing, coughing, etc.), we suggest you wear a face covering so that other people in the congregation does not feel uncomfortable.

***Please, if you’re sick and are not feeling well, please perform your prayers at home.***

A personal prayer rug (we have disposable ones too) and distancing will be still be required at all times.

***If Covid cases increase and/or we feel the need that Face Covering are necessary, we reserve the rights to enforce this policy again.***

Alhamdulillah, starting today the Masjid will be open every evening during Ramadan for Taraweeh Prayer. Taraweeh will start promptly after Isha Prayer at 9:30 pm.

There will be 8 rakats during this Ramadan.

At this time, we encouraged everyone who attends to be in the state of Wudu.

Face covering and a personal prayer rug (we have disposable ones too) are required at all times.

Please, if you’re sick and are not feeling well, please perform your prayers at home.
