We have our annual Fall Family Festival fast approaching. Our festival is a time of sharing our Christian Faith through fun activities. Bingo is one of our favorite activities for everyone, and we would like to know what activities you would like to see. We look for activities for all ages. The date for this year's festival is Sunday, October 29th, following worship.
We will gather on Sunday, August 20th, following worship service. Every member of St. Paul's is welcome and encouraged to join the gathering, and bring your ideas for the festival activities. Please, consider being a volunteer to help with the activities at the festival.
Please put this on your calendar and plan to join us in the north fellowship hall area.

So, this Sunday, September 11th, we are going to do "A THING". This notice is for all the St. Paul's Lutheran Church members who want to take part in our "pie making day". We will be starting our fun, after we get the kitchen cleaned up, following our Rally Sunday meal. I'm thinking 12:30 - 1:00.

This is what to expect and what you will need to take part;
Please, bring with you - your pie plate, your favorite pie recipe, the necessary ingredients for your pie, you can bring your "ready made" pie crust, or bring ingredients and make pie crust at the church. You will need a rolling pin, pastry matt or pastry cloth, which ever you prefer. You can make single or double crust pies. If anyone has an extra pastry cloth, matt or rolling pin, please bring them along. There might be some who aren't equipped with these pie making aids.
If you have never made a pie and need a recipe and ingredient list, please feel free to call me and I can share some of my recipes with you.
If we have some PRO pie makers in our congregation, please feel free to come and share your special gift and help with what may be beginners.
I am looking forward to this exciting event in our church. Maybe we can make it an annual event😊 Let's have a fun day, sharing our God given gifts!!

St. Paul's congregation will be celebrating our Rally Sunday this Sunday, September 11th, as our Sunday school teachers and students beging their new year, of walking with Christ.
The teachers have activities planned for the kids following the service. We will be having morning coffee hour after church for those who aren't able to stay to take in the kids activities and we will be serving a light lunch starting around 11:00.
I am looking for 3 or 4 volunteers to help in the kitchen with serving and clean up. We have some parents helping as well.

Please give me a call, if you are able to lend a hand in the kitchen for this celebration. It would be much appreciated!!

Thank you,

I would like to invite "everyone" from St. Paul's to join us in the north fellowship hall this Sunday, following worship service for a Bridge the Gap gathering. I would like to review our planned activities for this year. I also have some new ideas and prospective changes for activities in the church. Please feel free to join in, bring your ideas, ask questions and help our group grow. Our Bridge the Gap group is for ALL St. Paul’s members and non-members who join us for worship and other activities.
I am so excited for our church, and the future of St. Paul's, having Pastor Dayna's leadership and guidance. I truly believe, that we can work together as God's people, to make St. Paul’s Lutheran Church a shining Beacon for our community ✝️🙏

I am reaching out to our group in regard to our Fall fun festival. I visited with Pastor Dayna about our scheduled plans for the church.
She would love to have our festival on Sunday, October 30, Reformation Sunday. Rather than Sunday, October 9th. She loves Halloween and would like to have the festival as part of celebrating and sharing our statements of faith. Is anyone terribly opposed to switching our date?

Good morning. Just got a text from Pastor Dayna and she and Tim spent the night with friends in Odebolt IA and will be starting to Clear Lake at about 9:30. My tough calculations put them here at about 1:00-1:30 pm. Please pass this info along.
The potluck is still on for this evening as Pastor Dayna and Tim will be staying in Clear Lake tonight. Hope you can join us!!

I am looking for a few volunteers to help set up and clean up after our potluck supper on Monday June 27th for Pastor Dayna and Tim. Your help would be greatly appreciated 😊

We are in need of help on June 27th from 3-4pm to help unload the U-haul for Pastor Dayna and Tim. There will be a potluck in the fellowship hall after the U-Haul is unloaded.

Bonnie added,
"We welcome everyone from St. Paul's to take part in the potluck, not just those who are able to help unload.
It would be a great way to show our support for their ministry and make them feel welcome to our church and community."

Renae sent this out in an email but I thought we could share it here too.

I am putting out a call this morning for someone to help serve coffee hour with Lonnie. I signed up to serve, but forgot that I have council meeting following our meeting to vote for our hopeful new pastor. I have all the food and Lonnie and I will have it all ready to serve. I just know that he would appreciate some help. Thank you.

4 - Cut down "low hanging branches" from the trees in the back yard.
5 - Trim, cut out dead and low hanging branches from the north tree in the front yard. Trim and / or cut low hanging branches on the south tree in the front yard.
6 - Clean up the flower bed on the north side of the front deck.

Church property:

2 - Clean leaves from the north foundation wall.

Some items that people can bring are,
