So the waters were healed unto this day.
Elisha’s Spring still flows today!

“And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren. And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him. And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.
So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.”
2 Kings 2:19-22 (KJV)

Over 2,800 years later, that same spring, known today as Ein es-Sultan (Elisha’s Spring) in Jericho is still flowing. The water remains pure and drinkable. Locals still draw from it, and it continues to supply water to the city, just as the Word of the Lord declared.

The God who healed those bitter waters has not changed.

He is still faithful.
Still able.
Still making the barren fruitful.

Whatever feels broken or toxic in your life: bring it to Him.
He is able to heal it!

“For I am the Lord, I change not…”

Success rarely comes on the first attempt. Even strong predators fail often, but they keep going. The Christian life is like this: keeping on, being faithful, even when the present seems like loosing.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9

“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.”
2 Thessalonians 3:13

“For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”
Hebrews 10:36

Stay faithful. Faint not!

In the timeless words of Luke 6:27: "But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you," there's a divine precision that stirs the soul. Why them, not those? It's the Authorized Version’s faithful echo of the Greek, pointing straight to your specific adversaries with urgent, personal grace. No vague distance, just a holy call to pour kindness on the very ones wounding us. In our divided world, this isn't outdated. It's revolutionary mercy!

As your pastor, I cherish how this "them" draws us closer to Jesus' heart, compelling us to forgive, to bless, to transform hate into healing. Let's live it today: Who is that "them" in your life? Reach out with a prayer, a kind word. God's Word equips us for such radical love. ❤️

What enemy-love story is God writing in you?
