Jesus Christ, You stretched out Your arms of love on the hard wood of the Cross that everyone might come within the reach of Your saving embrace. So clothe us in Your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know You to the knowledge and love of You; for the honor of Your Name.

O God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd of Your people; grant that, when we hear His voice, we may know Him who calls us each by name, and follow where He leads.

O Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, You have brought us safely to the beginning of this day. Defend us by Your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin nor run into any danger; and that, guided by Your Spirit, we may do what is righteous in Your sight.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord who, with you and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever.

O God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd of Your people: Grant that, when we hear His voice, we may know Him who calls us each by name, and follow where He leads.

O God, the author of peace and lover of concord, to know You is eternal life and to serve You is perfect freedom: Defend us, Your humble servants, in all assaults of our enemies; that we, surely trusting in Your defense, may not fear the power of any adversaries, through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Almighty and everlasting God, who alone works great marvels: Send down upon our clergy and the congregations committed to their charge the life-giving Spirit of Your grace, shower them with the continual dew of Your blessing, and ignite in them a zealous love of Your Gospel.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who, with You and the Holy Spirit reigns, one God, forever and ever.

O God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd of your people: Grant that, when we hear his voice, we may know him who calls us each by name, and follow where he leads.

O God, the King eternal, whose light divides the day from the night and turns the shadow of death into the morning: Drive far from us all wrong desires, incline our hearts to keep your law, and guide our feet into the way of peace; that, having done your will with cheerfulness during the day, we may, when night comes, rejoice to give you thanks.

O God, you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth, and sent your blessed Son to preach peace to those who are far off and to those who are near: Grant that people everywhere may seek after you and find you; bring the nations into your fold; pour out your Spirit upon all flesh; and hasten the coming of your kingdom.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory throughout all ages.
